I'm wrapping and sorting stocking fillers when the kids go out with DH for a bike ride.

I wrapped all the presents yesterday so today is putting the tree up and decorating the house, then the rest of the day will probably be spent removing the cats from the tree

I'm meeting a friend to help him buy presents for his DC
Wrapping up some colleagues presents and putting under my tree until delivery
Writing some cards to post on Monday

Making mince pies, I will freeze some for later, and 'boozing' the Christmas cake

Finishing my cards- down to local ones now mainly for friends at church. We put them in piles on a table.

Going to a Christmas Fair with best friend.

Put the tree up this afternoon and other decorations tonight if I have the energy left.

Knit some more of the last scarf for the scarf challenge I am doing.

It’s tree and decorations day! Well, it might spread over both days as I do have other things to do as well, but DH will be rummaging in the loft shortly for it all.

I’m also going to try to write my shopping lists for my last two grocery deliveries, so I can lock in my order for the 23rd.

Today is tree day here too! Need to pick up our baubles from the local pottery place this morning so they can get pride of place on the tree (the kids decorate a bauble each every year). Also the Christmas bedding is going on the kids beds and I need to order gifts for my parents to give my kids. Need some non-tat stocking fillers and return some Christmas pjs (wasn't sure on sizing so ordered several).

Oh and got to pick up some more stamps.

I'm spending all day in the kitchen making 288 little chocolates for boxes of chocolates to give as Christmas presents. I did all the dark chocolates last night (some soild, some filled with an orange marshmallow fondant), so just 192 to make today! (Milk chocolate filled with caramel, white chocolate with freeze dried raspberry pieces, and then soild of both milk and white chocolate).

I'm doing the last shop before The Big Shop so I want to get all the non perishables, boring household stuff like foil, washing up liquid etc and random bits and bobs so I can finish the presents/decorating.

I'm also having a small Christmas get together with my four closest friends tonight where we'll do our secret Santa. One of them is coming over earlier to help out and then watch a Christmas film together before the party.

I will write out the few Christmas cards I need to do this morning, this afternoon we are making Christmas chocolate slabs & decorating the cookies for the tree, then tonight it's an argument between DC about which Christmas movies to watch with hot choc & s'mores

Nothing. Still at work with so much to catch up with. Can't even think about Christmas.

I'm waiting for DP to wake up (he's on nights) so I can leave DS with him and head to the shops to get the last of DP's presents. Then I'm going to bake some mince pies and tonight I'll wrap DP's presents while he's working

I've just finished making Delia's cranberry mincemeat and for the rest of the day I'll be cracking open the prosecco and having lunch with 5 friends I've known for nearly 50 years. Then the Strictly semi final. I'm pacing myself

Not a lot. Need to pop to Matalan to look for a onesie for my niece. We're going to a light trail thing in a local charity garden. And there's a craft fair in the church hall. Should probably write some cards but we're not sending a lot this year.

Today is garland making - we have a massive eucalyptus in the garden and they payoff for the regular tree surgeon bills and constant slight worry it might fall on the house is that I have a constant supply of eucalyptus to make mantle swags and garlands. I have my gold spray paint ready!

I also want to make Nigella's chilli jam before the peppers I bought at the market optimistically about a fortnight ago genuinely do go too far over for even preserve making.

Cleaning all the windows in the conservatory 🤦🏻‍♀️

Massive glass box with full glass roof and it's where we have Christmas Dinner. So we decorate it with lots of white lights and window stickers...

But before that, the damn glass needs doing. Fml, it takes hours.

Having a couple of friends over for a festive catch up - mince pies, mulled wine or sparkly and then burgers for tea with dc. Then tidy up, card writing, and watching strictly once kids are in bed. Wrapping next week when kids are at school

Trying to buy our trees!!

Putting the tree up with the grandchildren, the tree is older than all of them. Then decorating the fireplace and hall. Also trying to remember where I put the 3 new baubles I bought in JL last month 🤔

Haircuts are happening now.

This afternoon I'm getting ready to put the decorations up tomorrow, so a good tidy and clean in the living room and hall and get things out of the loft.

Decorations are the job for tomorrow and cleaning the fridge freezer.

I have a separate freezer that's bursting with the turkey, pastry for mince pies etc. I'm planning to run down the fridge/freezer this week, to make some room so it needs a good clean and tidy and I need to make a meal plan.

I also need to audit the pantry to check on all the things I've been buying like cranberry sauce and baking stuff. A final check on herbs and spices also. I've planned the main meals we're having so I have a list of dishes and recipes printed out, don't want any last minute panics.

Nothing much. Just had family guests for 2 nights plus 2 more for dinner last night, so the house-blitzing was mostly done, ditto tree and decorations, and all the presents for far flung family done and taken away with them.

Apart from writing the few last cards, and the usual walk (might purloin some holly en route) I’m going to chill, carry on knitting my stash buster blanket and watch some crap telly.

Finished last few touches on the tree. My daughter is at her volunteer job today so chance to get some wrapping done as her school has broken up for Christmas. Need to get the decoration boxes back to storage and tidy up. That tinsel gets everywhere!

Entire house isolating (finishes on Tuesday) so teens decluttering bedrooms, I am about to clean out the kitchen cupboards and DH is trying to persuade DC3 to part with a few toys for the school 2nd hand collection.

We should be in Edinburgh having festive afternoon tea in the Dome followed by Christmas shopping and the market but hey Ho!
