Help me choose a gin

I want to buy a nice bottle of gin for my friend/beauty therapist for Christmas but I don't drink it. I've seen her drink versions of pink gin and lemonade or sweet tonic, so think something along the sweeter side. I saw some nice looking bottles in Aldi, but I don't want to appear cheap, and I also don't know if they're decent?!

So, gin afficionados - please can you point me in the right direction for a nice bottle to give? Plus a nice mixer too.

Edinburgh Gin do some nice ones. Rhubarb and Ginger as recommended by pp is a good one. They also do a nice Raspberry one and a Christmas one.

Schweppes russchian tonic is the best, it's pink and sweet so fits your criteria too

Whitley Neil a rhubarb and ginger. Sometimes on offer for £20 and comes in a pretty purple bottle. Tastes lovely with lemonade

If your budget stretches to £32 I can recommend Tarquins rhubarb and raspberry gin. The bottle is really nice too. With pink grapefruit tonic, lovely.

Delicious as it is, Schweppes Russchian isn't tonic. Boring fact, it's been around since I was young so well over 30 years and was designed to be paired with Vodka, hence the name.

Malfy gins are lovely and come in several flavours, and in bright cheerful bottles, I like gin and sweet drinks and would be delighted receive a bottle of that :)

OMG you need to buy that bottle of gin from marks&spencer its £20 and it lights up, also has glitter in it so looks like it’s snowing, it’s absolutely beautiful a stunning thoughtful gift, the glitter twinkling white the light is on is amazing x

Aviator gin and bathtub gin are both delicious.

I'm a big gin drinker. Tarquin's is gorgeous. Rhubarb and raspberry or the blood orange one.

Hendricks gin is my favourite, as you can pair it with different tonics and it isn’t sickly, good with ginger beer too.
