What do YOU want for Christmas?

Looking for inspiration. I keep being asked what I want and don't really have a clue! Budget is approx £30-50.

My main problem is I have recently decluttered and don't want to fill the house back up. Books are usually my go to request, but my tbr pile is currently unmanageable due to a manic few months at work. Although I take care in my appearance, I'm not someone who would consider a makeup pallet or anything like that a treat.

I've asked for a less moody and happy teenager but it's highly likely that Santa is unable to deliver that! 🤣 However, stranger things have happened!

Loyaultemelie · 10/12/2021 12:50

All I really want is my little hand reared disabled kitten to be with us and able to have some of DCs turkey on the days (so far so good)

Present wise I would like(but putting on hold until times are better)
Purple crutches to cheer me up
A new lightweight crossbody bag.

moni34 · 10/12/2021 13:24

Perfume?
Nice candles?
Jo Malone stuff ?
Oh my list could go on and on 😂

Minorissue · 10/12/2021 13:29

Perfume or a Spacenk voucher to be spent after baby arrives in the new year as I know I’ll feel all grey and in need of some new skin care or make up then

user1471538283 · 10/12/2021 14:19

I know I've got one of my favorite perfumes and I have asked for if anything small token things so chocolates would be nice, maybe a candle. Like you and others I do not need anymore shit in the house!

I am hoping that when we are back to normal properly we can go away for a spa weekend and have a holiday.

Honeymint · 10/12/2021 22:52

I really don’t know what I want this year at all.

They sell bars of manuka honey chocolate in Sainsbury’s that I’d quite like.
Dunelm had these really nice teddy-fabric pillows which I’d have liked for reading in bed but they sold out before I could ask anyone!

portandchocolate · 10/12/2021 23:21

@secretrugbyfan would happily forego all of Christmas for that, for all who have that bastard disease

Thanks
Etherealhedgehog · 11/12/2021 06:58

I've asked for a new wallet as mine is old and manky

GoodnightGrandma · 11/12/2021 07:04

A divorce and DH to move out 🤣

Chunkymenrock · 11/12/2021 07:05

Oh yes, a divorce with no hard feelings.

Galacticat · 11/12/2021 07:12

A skip and somewhere to live.
We have been given notice and have to be out on January 1st! There are no properties round here to rent and the little something of a pandemic is proving all this difficult.

Jacaranda75 · 11/12/2021 07:41

@Galacticat that’s terrible! Whereabouts in the country are you?

itspartytime · 11/12/2021 07:41

I went on M&S website yesterday and bought a jumper and some lingerie that I wanted . It's being delivered today. 'Santa' (DH) means well but he usually buys uncomfortable shite that would make me feel/look like a porn star! ( ok for an evening, but I couldn't wear that rubbish all day !!)

caringcarer · 11/12/2021 07:43

Heated slippers.

Badabingbadabum · 11/12/2021 07:46

Some really good quality slipper socks. Some nice new ovendishes in various sizes. The sort you can serve from and feel fancy.

Cailinrua1979 · 11/12/2021 07:53

@DeadbeatGasbag

Week in Amsterdam with a drugs hamper.
😂
dottiedodah · 11/12/2021 08:47

Pretty much anything from Etsy ,Beads ,Scarves ,knick knacks for tree. Also my fave perfume (hopefully hubby has bought it !) Some scented chocs. Gadgets for kitchen as well (NOT Irons ,kettles though!)

SeaAndSnow · 11/12/2021 09:20

for that price range I would go for books or an afternoon tea voucher. I have seen a wild food foraging course for about that price but would need to stay in a B&B to access it!

SingingSands · 12/12/2021 01:00

@ButteredOwl thank you! That is beautiful!

FlamingGoat · 12/12/2021 05:12

Rural Scotland where all the housing is being converted to holiday. The villages are dying here.

ChangingStates · 12/12/2021 05:58

A voucher for a massage

saturning · 13/12/2021 16:17

i've asked for a specific scarf from husband from Burberry (not the signature nova)

thick fluffy socks and some snazzy regular socks from the kids

i've asked for posh make up sets like lancome, ysl or no 7 from my own siblings

Couchbettato · 13/12/2021 20:29

RoC or Elizabeth Arden retinol face pods.

I wouldn't usually buy them for myself because they're too luxury but a few months worth would probably get me to invest in some self care.

repottingthescabious · 13/12/2021 23:54

@secretrugbyfan i wish well and every happy success.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Xmas Smile

repottingthescabious · 13/12/2021 23:57

@user1471481356

I would love to be acknowledged in any way. A card, a chocolate bar, anything at all to show that there’s anyone who cares about me. Havnt had a present or card in years.

If I was buying for myself (I don’t, it’s depressing), I would get a kitchen aid spatula edge beater, or a pair of jeans, or a voucher for a hair cut.

@user1471481356

i wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

You never know what happiness next year will bring Bear Star Cake
