What do YOU want for Christmas?

Looking for inspiration. I keep being asked what I want and don't really have a clue! Budget is approx £30-50.

My main problem is I have recently decluttered and don't want to fill the house back up. Books are usually my go to request, but my tbr pile is currently unmanageable due to a manic few months at work. Although I take care in my appearance, I'm not someone who would consider a makeup pallet or anything like that a treat.

brand new Mercedes-Benz

SteppinOutwithMyBaby · 10/12/2021 02:38

I swear by my weighted blanket, but it's getting a bit warm for it where I live, even though it has been unseasonably cold so far this year, so I have bought myself a Sleep Hug for Christmas.

Luxurious but comfy pajamas
Ugg Slippers
Teddy Hooded Dressing Gown
Bath Bombs
Relaxing Scent Spray or Candle
My own Lego Set - a Castle preferably
My own Television and Nintendo Switch
Room Service Vouchers
Spa, Mani/Pedi, Massage Vouchers
…lol, I work 12 hours a day, 5 days a week all year in addition to taking care of the family so I really just want to rest.

Also, I want a trip to Tokyo and Seoul please.

Panacotta · 10/12/2021 05:31

Gorgeous leather boots.

mathanxiety · 10/12/2021 05:43

A squirrel proof birdfeeder. Must be tried and tested and completely baffling to the little bastards.

To get rid of the cancer that is in me......

I would love to be acknowledged in any way. A card, a chocolate bar, anything at all to show that there’s anyone who cares about me. Havnt had a present or card in years.

If I was buying for myself (I don’t, it’s depressing), I would get a kitchen aid spatula edge beater, or a pair of jeans, or a voucher for a hair cut.

TenFootTall · 10/12/2021 06:41

I don't want it all, but the selection i have mentioned to oh includes;
Revlon one step hair dryer/volumiser thing
A weighted blanket
Nice tea mug
Chocolate
Wireless in ear, ear phones
Perfume
Eyebrow fixing/taming stuff
New fitbit
Manicure set

And the ideas he has floated for himself;
Pants
Malteaser Truffles

Easy enough I suppose!

peboh · 10/12/2021 07:58

I've asked for a nice dressing gown, some gin, chocolate and a book!
There really isn't much I'm wanting or needing this year, so I've also really struggled with coming up with ideas for gifts for myself.

Jacaranda75 · 10/12/2021 08:10

M&S Christmas candle
Kikki K diary
Moisturiser (something vegan & palm oil-free)
Bra & knickers from Fantasie
Trans by Helen Joyce
Any books by Grant Cardone.

PotBelliesGiveGoodLoving · 10/12/2021 08:13

Peace and quiet.

Goldenphoenix · 10/12/2021 08:22

@secretrugbyfan sending you a huge Christmas hug

@user1471481356 I see you and wish you a very Merry Christmas

I have asked for a leather backpack. Have a bad shoulder and shoulder bags aren't cutting it for me anymore so would like to switch to a smart backpack instead

Zebracat · 10/12/2021 08:41

@user1471481356 . Buying yourself a present really isn’t depressing, it’s lovely. I did it for years as a single parent. I’m in a different place now and get lots of presents, but I still buy one for me! This year , I am also buying a couple for teenagers that I will drop at the food bank, and that feels right, wish I’d started that bit years ago.
Random, but this year, Ive bought myself some lovely teaspoons. We never have enough! £6.99. There may also be some items in the Wrap sale...

spiderlight · 10/12/2021 09:07

I really don't want any physical 'stuff' this year so my present is going to be either an add-on for my photo editing software or Disney Plus.

Missey85 · 10/12/2021 09:09

A cappacino machine I've always wanted one

danorak · 10/12/2021 09:16

I'm a newly single mum so no one really to buy for me, but my DDad has got me a winter coat and some boots as I left my home earlier this year with basically nothing but DC's things.

Can't wait Grin not even bothered if it's not to my taste!

ThirdElephant · 10/12/2021 09:20

Boring stuff really. A new perfume (I've run out of my favourite one), a nice moisturiser, some new Wellington boots, new slippers and a dressing gown, driving gloves...

That kind of thing.

ByeByeMissAmericanPie · 10/12/2021 09:21

George Clooney

CottonPyjamas · 10/12/2021 09:27

I'm a book fan with a big tbr list too. I'd really like a DIY book nook, as the ready made ones are too expensive for me

Molehillfromamountain · 10/12/2021 09:58

A travel mug
Sockshop bamboo socks
The Headscarf Revolutionaries Book
For DH to declutter his stuff. (That's been on the wishlist a while.)

LeftieLucy · 10/12/2021 11:08

Bath stuff and chocolates.

2pinkginsplease · 10/12/2021 11:10

I’ve asked for converse high tops and a pair of boots.

TheRealMrsMorningstar · 10/12/2021 11:22

DH has got me an arduino starter kit (at my request). I think it may be aimed more at kids due to the first thing to make is a spaceship control panel 😂 but I really don't care...I want one so that is what my awesome Dh is getting me!

I'm also getting massage vouchers and hotel chocolate liquor.

ButteredOwl · 10/12/2021 11:27

I've asked for ...

Hush jumpsuit
Dior bath oil
Fortnum & Mason passion fruit chocolates
Scamp & Dude joggers
1st edition book from my childhood

ButteredOwl · 10/12/2021 11:29

@SingingSands I have this one in tiger eye on my bed and it's stunning
