Title because the last one’s nearly used up and I haven’t got time to do my usual picking of a title, sorry.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

BOSH vegan cookbook down to £6 on Amazon. I've just ordered it for myself, not sure whether to wrap it up and pretend it's for DH Xmas Wink

Smileatthesmallthings · 14/12/2021 11:12

@Tamtam86 awesome, just ordered that. My newly vegetarian wife happened to mention that book a few weeks ago so for £6 it can definitely go in her pile.

RJnomore1 · 14/12/2021 11:21

Help! I was all done but now my oldest daughters polish flatmate is stuck here over Xmas and I want to her her some nice wee things as she will be working and will have no Xmas as such. Early 20s, likes kpop, that’s about all u know - suggestions for generic enough presents that are still nice and not too pricey as I didn’t budget for this?

MysticCT · 14/12/2021 11:26

I chose some flowers on Bloom & Wild, as I had a £10 off first order code and added all the details but forgot to check out.
The next day I was emailed with a £15 off code. That's an early January Birthday present sorted Smile
Worth a try to see if it works .

I have a multipart request!

Does anyone know if there are still 35% off Toniebox codes available and if so, does anyone have a spare floating around that they don't need? Dniece's present has been lost in transit and upon reflection, I think this would be even more appreciated by her!

Also, thanks for all the golf suggestions. Our order from Gaulf arrived this week and I think DBIL will be thrilled.

WotgunShedding · 14/12/2021 11:30

Also, I sent B&M flowers to a Covid-struck friend who was delighted with them and ended up buying books from Books2Door, as well as buying sponsored poo for DBro! So thanks to everyone for their ideas, it's been amazingly helpful Flowers

@RJnomore1
Still a few nicely packaged gifts on Joules for £2.50 inc delivery?

RJnomore1 · 14/12/2021 11:56

Thanks @AlexinMotherland where would I find them?

Notlongnow1 · 14/12/2021 12:02

Gutted - she isn't willing to post. If anyone happens to live in/near Tunstall and would like to be my Christmas angel please do let me know!

RJnomore1 · 14/12/2021 12:05

Ignore me, found it!

@Delahot

Looking for some slip on/no lace comfortable trainers for a lady with mobility issues so can’t bend to put them on. She wears slip on sketcher type shoes but would love a nice pair of trainers. I’ve seen lovely faux lace up ones but the reviews said the back was soft and you needed to bend down to help put them on which won’t fit. Any help greatly appreciated x
My husband has similar issues he is waiting for a hip and knee replacement - he wears sketchers with faux laces and uses a long handled shoehorn for the back if it goes down
Yeknom · 14/12/2021 12:17

@RevolvingPivot May I ask where the bubble tea squishies are from pls? x

herestoyoucolinrobinson · 14/12/2021 12:21

@notlongnow1 do you think she might be willing to let parcelforce collect it? You can get them to bring their own label when they pick it up and you can specify a window when they can collect. I guess the box might get a bit bashed though.

eBay I'll get the link. Sorry thought I'd added it.

PositiveLife · 14/12/2021 12:44

@VividImaginationAgain when you get to payment there's a tick box to use your credit

slaybellsringing · 14/12/2021 12:54

Hellooo all! I've realised I need a velvetiser as a gift for someone on the last bloody minute!

If anyone has any Lakeland vouchers they don't want I would be super grateful if you can pm them to me, I won't get time to check back on here until later this evening .. many thanks lovely festive people! Xmas Smile

HoHoJ0 · 14/12/2021 13:14

@slaybellsringing Hotel chocolat velvetiser has £15 off bundles with the code Extra15 if that helps

@ZIGGY911 I use callebaut chocolate callets from Amazon in my velvetiser. I either chop them in the food processor or add them slowly halfway through the milk warming. Pendragon drinks are often recommended but I was disappointed. They were mixed with granulated sugar which I found unnecessary. I think the dark Callebaut callets are vegan.

HoHoJ0 · 14/12/2021 13:16

Oh and I forgot to ask my question… my sister was supposed to sort just one single present for my mum but she hasn’t. Can anyone recommend a starter set for doing gel nails at home? Prices seem to vary wildly and I have no clue what I’m looking for. Thank you!

PoirotAndHisMoustache · 14/12/2021 13:21

@ZIGGY911 i think people also recommended Chocolat Carbonnel - it’s reasonably priced at Lakeland
@slaybellsringing i have spare Lakeland codes if you don’t receive any

ZIGGY911 · 14/12/2021 13:22

Thank you for the velvetiser recommendations. I'm off to purchase a few different ones to add to the family hamper they don't know they have
