Title because the last one’s nearly used up and I haven’t got time to do my usual picking of a title, sorry.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Vodafone codes thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@Famousthehero - those are all fabulous ideas, thank you so much! And I think you're right - a wander around Home Bargains or B&M will probably sort it out. Xmas Grin

Can anyone remember what the dupe was for the magic cauldron please

noscoobydoodle · 14/12/2021 06:41

@slithytoveisascientist - was it the buki wizard chemistry experiment set?

Dolphintrainer · 14/12/2021 06:53

@theclockticksslowly this is a new encyclopaedia out this winter and it’s beautifully presented inside to make it a lovely read. I’d say perfect for age 9 too.

@FilthyforFirth I’ve PMed you a £5 off £50 voucher code if any use?

theclockticksslowly · 14/12/2021 07:19

Thank you for all the suggestions of a book for my DD. I shall take a closer look at them all!

Autumnleaves4 · 14/12/2021 07:38

@Getoutofbed25

Use this code at Tile to get a tile mate for about £11 free postage

Great for a teenager’s stocking

TILE-FRFAM-2021

Where from please?
FilthyforFirth · 14/12/2021 07:58

Thank you @Fluffyduckxmas, I have just replied!

newroundhere · 14/12/2021 08:18

It was directly from Tile but I think a PP said they had sold out now

newroundhere · 14/12/2021 08:19

Sorry, that was for Autumnleaves4

I've bought a velvetiser and I remember people recommended alternative and cheaper flakes but no idea which thread so thought I'd ask again. I also need vegan recommendations for it too. Thanks so much

Thegoldgrind · 14/12/2021 09:01

£5 off at Hobbycraft if anyone can use the code! Valid until the 19th

M&s flakes were recommended on here but I found them too sweet.

@Yuledo

Thanks to whoever said about the two raspberry Smirnoff vodkas for £20 at Asda. That is ds’s favourite drink.
@Yuledo that was me - glad it helped. I tried it on Saturday and can confirm that it's very nice (but dangerously non-alcoholic tasting as expected!).
VividImaginationAgain · 14/12/2021 09:43

@Thegoldgrind thank you. I have used your code and ordered the chemistry table of elements jigsaw for ds3. His chemistry teacher will be proud of me!

Has anyone used their Papier referral code £10 yet. I can’t see how to do it! Thanks.

Notlongnow1 · 14/12/2021 09:43

I could cry! The Buki Wizard Chemistry set I was so blooming excited about has just been cancelled 4 days after ordering with just a refund and 'sold out' on invoice. Anyone seen it in stock anywhere else?!

MiniatureHotdog · 14/12/2021 10:00

Enormous cat squishmallows in my local B&M this morning if anyone was still looking

herestoyoucolinrobinson · 14/12/2021 10:05

@notlongnow1 oh no! I've looked but can't see it in stock other than at ridiculous prices. There's another wizard one on amazon but tbh it looks terrible in comparison.

MiniatureHotdog · 14/12/2021 10:05

Also, they have a hulk goo jit zu, the non glow in the dark one which I'm sure a poster was after a few threads ago??

Notlongnow1 · 14/12/2021 10:06

@herestoyoucolinrobinson thanks. May have to rethink!

herestoyoucolinrobinson · 14/12/2021 10:28

@notlongnow1 www.fanthome.com/en/buki-wizard-chemistry.html

Should arrive in 2 - 4 days it says...

Notlongnow1 · 14/12/2021 10:33

@herestoyoucolinrobinson thanks just a little nervous about possible import fees. Anyone have any experience of that recently?
There is one on marketplace for a very bargainous £8 but in stoke on trent! - says collection only but have messaged on the off-chance they may be feeling particularly kind!

GraceTime · 14/12/2021 10:35

So I'm not going to do any more of the admittedly very little 'real' shopping anymore. I had planned a trip to the works this week for a week by week a4 diary. They are on sale but I don't need anything else from there and don't want to pay the postage online which will be more than the cost of the diary. Any ideas on where I can pick up a diary online without paying postage. I don't need a fancy one, just a practical one. Thanks
