Hooray! One more to get. Very easy a quick trip to the high street. A couple on their way in the post.

Okay to be honest I only had to buy for DD(19), DH and a little gift for a friend. My elderly cat wants nothing except sleep. But I also have to juggle a chronic painful and exhausting condition too. So there are days it’s hard to remember my own date of birth.

For DD
Pandemic game (it’s actually quite a positive game, co-operating to fight the Pandemic so the name didn’t put me off)
Henna kit
Pangolin sponsorship through Born Free
Professional drawing pad
Just need to get a decent photo of our cat printed a put in a frame for her

DH
Books: one by John Crace and Empireland
Dressing Gown

Friend:
Little box Hotel chocolat
Jo Brand book: Born Lippy

I used to be very fussy about wrapping neatly (not that anyone cared). Now my hands have worsened it’s a case of as neat as feasible. But thankfully I am not going to attempt to wrap the dressing gown. It can stay in the M&S bag it arrived in. 😂

Anyone done? Nearly done. Half way. Not even started. I’m just nosey by nature. 🤣🎄

Nearly done - have to buy two vouchers and Xmas eve jammies. I will also do a small food hamper for two relatives but will do that the week of Xmas.

I’m having to stop myself from buying more tbh!

Nothing wrapped but all I need to buy are a couple of pairs of black leggings for adult dd to wear in the house and go with a Next fleece zip up top, oh and a pair of jeans and couple of tops for me when I pop into town. I've got orders to pick up from Next, american golf and dunelm. Waiting for order to arrive from etsy, and I'm waiting for an order to arrive at Fenwicks and Boots. Day off tomorrow but I'm stuck in waiting for an order to arrive, my present from Dh, no clue what, but hopefully there will be a time slot so I can pop out and collect a few parcels!

Spoke to soon. Saw a necklace on Etsy I knew DD(19) would like. So ordered it. Perhaps it’s the twitch. No more now. It’s not necessary.

Just twitched and bought fleeces for dc from uniqlo on offer. The temperature in their classroom is baltic now so they're allowed to wear additional layers.

Db announced he's bringing his gf and her kids for afternoon tea now so I have to get 2 selection boxes and a small gift for her. Any ideas? Don't know anything about her so hard to guess.

I'm pretty much done with the shopping! Finished today. Got 2 presents to arrive, one for DH from DM, and one for my best friend. Just ordered a photo calendar of the DC for PIL, and a photobook for DM. We're ordering a nice hamper for PIL but doing that a bit later in the month.

In terms of wrapping I've done:
Most of DS'
DM (apart from photobook)
DH
Best friend (apart from 1)
Best friend's DD
Nephew 1
Nephew 2

Tomorrow I'm doing DD's and the rest of DS' whilst they're at school/preschool, plus their stockings, and the little stocking bits I have for DH and DM. I need to write some cards too.

Still time for twitch presents for the DC but trying not to!

I finished Christmas shopping for DSis and family (5 in total), other DSis & BiL and they’ve now been delivered while in their area for the weekend. Done DH, DTs, 2x DGSs & their DM, 1x DGD, stocking/additional items for DFiL who is coming to stay (devolved government restrictions allowing) and DMiL. Have bought additional items for DSD. Have started wrapping presents ready to put under tree and will do more when DTs are at nursery later today.

DH, on the other hand, has to buy main gift for DSS (his adult DS), DSD, DMiL, DFiL and, I presume, me but has yet to do anything about it!!

35 bought from us for family and friends.
14 of those wrapped and posted.

15 presents bought on behalf of my MI, she is 98 and still takes great interest in what she gives to her family.
3 of those wrapped and posted.

Hope to get rest of presents wrapped this week .
I will task DH with wrapping the fiddly Christmas Box presents for adult DDs.( Formerly known as stocking fillers)
Ooh that’s a thought I will make them fabric bags this year to delve into! They get 10 useful but cheap things each.

So a total of 70. Eek . Approx 25% wrapped.

All cards written and posted, 15 of those hand made.

I'm about 2/3rds done. I have 1 for DH & 1 for DD still to get & some stocking fillers for dd (teen) I will probably twitch & buy something else too between now & then

Couple of presents for my niece & nephew & that's it. I'm DONE!

I did it all quite quickly this year & I refused to be stressed about it. We're putting up the tree at the weekend & then I think I'll start to feel more festive

All bought and wrapped for my 3 DS's( although not wrapping air fryer boxes!)
Just a bottle of gin for a friend which I'll add to last food shop
I've never had everything wrapped so early( quite a chore with one non functioning arm and hand!)

I did a Christmas years ago with a very broken wrist. I remember sobbing as I wrapped. You have my sympathies.

😳 Wow. It’s not quite that bad. So long as I don’t wrap too much in one go it’s okay. So one or two and then no more that day. Luckily I don’t have that many so I can avoid any days they are particularly playing up.

Me. Everything is bought but I've got one stocking filler still to arrive and I'm knitting a pair of socks for DD1. I'll wrap everyone's stocking fillers at the weekend once everything is here/finished.

I've got 3 of DS's presents still to wrap and a couple for DH - everything else is done. I wrote our cards today and they are going in the post tomorrow.

I’m done other than sorting a magazine subscription for my dm. I buy for quite a few people so it’s been hard work, I really need to cut back next year and not buy for so many. Have bought too much for the dc (teens) but mainly useful things as well as things they have asked for.

Just waiting for a secret Santa gift to arrive so I can post to the recipient.

Me, pretty much. I did 90% of mine online last week and it's all now arrived. Planning on going into town this Sunday to buy any fun, little stocking fillers/treats that catch my eye for our DDs. Going to treat myself to a massive fancy hot chocolate in Starbucks and a very leisurely browse through Waterstones too.

I’m done ✅ DH still needs to wrap, he’s doing it on Thursday apparently - I buy and he wraps, I have chronic conditions and find the wrapping tricky, like you OP my hands don’t work well.

I’ve even sent my dads to Canada, where he lives and, more impressively, it’s already arrived already (normally takes forever!).

I’ve also done DD’s birthday (28/12).

Absolutely guaranteed to get the twitch, although I’m trying to behave

All done, wrapped (by end November) and under the tree yesterday for those visiting/staying and deliveries organised for those we won’t see before Christmas.

Ordered the food and wine, just need to do vegetable/fruit/salad shopping -send out my husband for that!

Feeling rather smug -this has never happened before!

Obviously means I must have forgotten something really important 😳
