4 year old asked santa for a rainbow racecar please help

DS changed his plan when we went to see santa and instead of the bike I've spent a lot of money on Hmm he wants a rainbow racecar
I know the important thing here is the colour, rainbow is his favourite colour.
So I've googled and I keep getting an LOL car, it looks cool and changes colour but it won't be all the colours at once which is key.

No luck so far, it can be cheap or expensive, big or small he won't care but rainbow!!

Buy a car and acrylic / metallic paint from Hobbycraft or somewhere, with a bit of masking tape you could get the same effect. DS won’t know/ mind if it’s diy.

We got caught out by a change of mind this year, since his birthday all he wanted a paw patrol tower, so we bought one early, low and behold, he then wanted super sings, thankfully he is back on the tower phheeewww

Next year we won't buy anything until the list is written to Santa, no take backs after that WinkSmileSmile

Have you googled hot wheels? My ds collects them and there are allsorts. He has got a spider one for xmas.
I would be suprised if there wasnt a rainbow coloured one!

The corgi ones might work thanks.
I don't really think he means a classic racecar shape when he says racecar but I'm not ready to completely stray from it without trying a bit more.

Cross post. A 4 year old won't know the difference between a taxi and a racing car, they're both cars. As you said, the rainbow is the important bit!

My 4 year old has asked for a ride-on racing car with pedals and a back seat for his baby sister... wish me luck with that one! Confused

Hahaha goodness. The things kids ask for sometimes! My dd has asked for 100 unicorns. So I'm buying her some sticker sheets as there's no way I can afford 100 unicorn toys!

Would he like a wooden one? If so you can buy plain wooden ones on Etsy then paint a rainbow on.

Good luck OP! My DS has asked for a pinky red car in a red box. He's 2! Luckily he won't remember as long as it is vehicle related and vaguely red.

Could you get some sort of paint your own car with paints or a selection of sharpies? DS could design his own rainbow.
