Who has their tree up?

We usually wait until 1st December but it's a snow day here so debating putting it up.

Nope. Still to early for us. I've told they kids can put the artificial one up in the kitchen on Thursday (I'd let them do it on the 1st but we're busy). The really tree will be the week before Xmas because I like to keep them up till twelfth night and any sooner there'll be nowt left of it

This is very understated for me its usually drowning under tinsel, baubles and coloured lights. But my Dad died in October and I'm not totally feeling festive atm.
DD1 was very excited to get it up. She's 23

I've put mine up today, I normally do it the first weekend in December but I'm working next weekend so I've put it up today. It's also snowed here so is very christmassy today. Me and ds have had a lovely christmassy afternoon making ginger bread men, listening to festive tunes and we will be watching a Christmas film shortly with nibbles for tea.

I needed some sparkle in my life, as this year has been just awful.

My son will come visit next weekend and we will go cut one down. I'm in a new house this year and bought some new garlands as I have a mantle and front wall and I'm itching to get them up! The weather is wet and cold so feel like I might get away with it... but no tree til next weekend.
We are going to a wreath making workshop on the 1st which will really kick the season off.

We have just finished decorating our tree. The other decorations around the house will go up over the next week.

Nope. We’re due to move house in the second week of December. I’m tempted to cancel Christmas, despite having already bought presents and non perishable food.

I would love to put our tree up but if I do it will have no baubles on it by the end of the day ds loves to take all the balls off the Tree he has a fascination with anything round. I might put the fibre optic tree up this weekend without baubles on.

Haha I have a 2yo here and everything is a ball to him. He's removed a few of the lower baubles but is very gentle with them and I've shown him how to put them back on.

Put ours up today and so glad we did - feels so cosy particularly with the stormy weather outside! I love all the fairy lights and wish I could keep them up all year round.

Usually December but had a rubbish week and was due to go to the Lanterns at Chester Zoo tonight but it was cancelled. So put it up today to make myself feel better!

Did mine this morning.

My two DD’s are putting it up now. They are so excited I couldn’t say no so sent DH to dig the decs and tree out of the loft. Christmas tunes playing and watching the girls put the baubles on the tree - bliss
