Poor old Gary - he’s gone from money off his concerts to being drowned in hot chocolate 🤣. Thanks for the title @iklboo Grin

Ah OK, thanks @Mummyoply, thought I'd missed something. I'll keep an eye out for a second email.

@NoWordForFluffy thanks for the info. In my head I knew vinyl was available and there were some enthusiasts, but I assumed they were people who remembered it from the first time around! Clearly I was wrong. Info re the suitcase style useful as that's what I was looking at!

The vinyl thing baffles me. My dd 17 has been into it for a couple of years. Her record player is I swear exactly like the one I had in the 70’s and honestly the sound quality is also similar! The sound from downloads is so much better.
Anyway, the price of vinyl albums is at least double the price of a download. But, my Dd is only interested in alternative, or retro, or different albums. Much harder to find and super expensive. She wouldn’t buy Ed Sheehan on vinyl for example, she would download that. So I guess I’m trying to say the vinyl is more of a collection, hobby thing for her.

@Lovemusic33
Amazon sell Camper van journey diaries at that price point. There's a pretty cool range

Saxineno · 16/11/2021 19:58

@Lovemusic33

Does anyone have a body shop code other than the £10 off a £40 spend?

Any ideas what to buy a 60+ year old man who has everything? He likes gadgets, has recently converted a Campervan? Last year I bought him posh cleaning stuff for his new car and his favourite sweets. Only want to spend £15 max.

How about a heated blanket that plugs into car / camper van?

Thank you

Minionbums · 16/11/2021 20:09

My Gangster Granny Strikes Again from WHSmith arrives today - along with the free book. Both hardback. What a bargain, thanks again Grin

ThreeB · 16/11/2021 20:13

@IslaInthesun would a Mr Frosty do the trick?

EveLe · 16/11/2021 20:14

@lifeisbetterinpajamas pm and code received, thank you!

SapereAude · 16/11/2021 20:15

We were talking about DNA kits at some point- the My Heritage basic one is on Amazon with £30 off (a coupon) bringing it to £49. I checked the My Heritage site and that's their offer too. Ancestry meanwhile is down to £59.
I am thinking of getting one for DD as she's started with the family tree research but I can't remember- someone said one was better than the other and I can't remember which, or why!

EveLe · 16/11/2021 20:20

@IslaInthesun B+M have a freeze pop maker from slush puppie FREEZE POP MAKER

Or I've seen these on amazon that look cute.....Penquin Mold

Got a bargain for my OH. He needed a new wallet and with the contactless limit raised, I wanted RFID.

This lego technic plane is only £6 on Amazon, reduced from £8.99. Might make a nice stocking filler.

There's also this lego front loader for £4, reduced from £8.99.

endlesscraziness · 16/11/2021 20:41
