Oh my goodness! Jealous! My son loves octonauts and I can't find any in the shops. Not on social media and eBay are extremely high priced!

Loving this thread and this is my first post though I've taken advantage of plenty of offers including WHSmiths, hot diamonds, neom beauty box, speed track, massive bar of chocolate, exploding kittens, dobble, duplo unicorn and probably more I've forgotten about!

I finally did a recky last weekend so that I actually know (most of) what I've got and who I've still got to buy for and I'm looking for bargainous deals on:

• Yoto or Tonie player (for 4&6 year old)
• More kids books (anyone know of a current WH Smiths code?)

I also saw this cool light up 'fish' tube in Dunelm today which I want for my eldest (6) who has asked for fish for Christmas but I want to wait until he's a bit older and can deal with the cleaning out himself so thought this would be a good alternative. It was out of stock both in store and online so I'll just keep an eye out unless anyone knows somewhere selling something similar?

I’m after an orange lava lamp if anyone spots something. One on holiday had orange ‘lava’ and a light liquid inside, possibly yellow. DCs found it very relaxing.

I was in my local Matalan today and they had 50% off wooden toys and appliances such as wooden toaster down to £5, wooden juicer, wooden baking set, wooden breakfast tray set, wooden cake mixer, a mini dishwasher and mini ironing set. Can't remember the prices of them all but most were around £5 I think!

Also you can try expanding your search area on Facebook Marketplace and asking the seller if they will post if you pay. I've had a lot of success with that

Just be warned - they tend to be delivered in the box so you'll have to make sure your DD doesn't see it! It's also a massive box, and an even bigger pink monstrosity once built 😂
