Thanks @famousthehero for the title. I had no idea you could buy such things and I’m now imagining scores of children getting owl poo as a present for Christmas! They must be popular as they’re now out of stock 🤣.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@fionnthedog We bought Mario monopoly last xmas for my then 10 year old, and it was hard work! It was only played with twice before we gave up and it's been in the attic since.

If you're looking for Mario games then Mario Labyrinth is a much easier board game, we play that regularly, and even my 6 year old can play with no problems. Shaky towers is good for the younger kids too, but Mario Jenga was also hard work as its good different rules to normal Jenga.

Have managed to get all my stocking fillers with code extra10 at entertainer 😁

Also Just when I think I’m free of peppa 17month old ds has taken to getting very excited and shouting peppa every time he sees the little pig anywhere. The only bits dd has left are quite small pieces so I’m on the lookout for anything he won’t stuff into his mouth please

Scout2016 · 12/11/2021 14:47

@Jacopone
Wyatt and Jack make colourful eye catching bags from recycled bouncy castles. Dear though.

Scout2016 · 12/11/2021 14:55

Sorry, Verucca had already suggested W and J.

Gutted, I took a load of Peppa stuff last week to the charity shop, o could have posted it to you! 😩 Home bargains have Peppa and George stuffed toys though and I'm sure I've seen a car in there as well
Fuckingfuckssake · 12/11/2021 15:01

Thanks @MerylSqueak I just ended up spending the £20 in the end, the item I needed was low in stock and I was worried I wouldn't get it.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 12/11/2021 15:01

Anyone been to Aldi today?

Me. First thing. What have I missed?!!!
MarshmallowsOnToast · 12/11/2021 15:03

@MalFunkshun

Type Paw Patrol into George at Asda. They have some lovely clothes, socks, pjs for boys & girls and some nice toys & balance bikes.

Loads of choice.

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams

Does anybody have a tablet you connect to a bigger screen with a wire? (Rather than casting.) My DGM loves films but doesn't have WiFi — I'd like to have something we can download films onto from Prime or Disney+ at home then plug into her telly to watch them, but it sounds like some don't do that, and it isn't very obvious which ones do!
My DH has a 'Simbans' tablet (bought on Amazon) which he thinks was great value for money and it has the HDMI output socket that you need if you want to link with a cable. I have a very ancient (circa 2012) Kindle Fire that has an HDMI socket and I still use to link to TV screen, but don't think any of the recent ones have it.

I am looking for £5 off £40 Argos code. If anyone has a spare please can I be considered?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 12/11/2021 15:11

@takethattime the special buy fairy lights that were supposed to arrive yesterday but have been delayed across the country.

shinny · 12/11/2021 15:16

Here's an unwanted 20% code for Adidas:
B5KD-22VW-NRLQ-TNLDC

I was in Primark earlier and they had some cute small skillets with cooking ingredients for brownies and cookies. 5quid each. Plus lots of hot chocolate goodies and sauces etc.

Myfanwyprice · 12/11/2021 15:17

They just showed this offer on Steph’s packed lunch - www.fragrancedirect.co.uk/yankee-candle-christmas-wow-gift-set-0119600.html

Seems quite good value, plus if you spend £50 on Yankee you get a free Reed diffuser, and there’s save £5 if you spend £50 site wide at the moment.

Thought it would be good to split and bulk out presents for some tricky aunts/grandparents.

@Room4onemore

I still can’t find the dairy milk
Me neither!
welshgirl666 · 12/11/2021 15:26

Also does anyone know a free delivery code for studio please?
Thanks

I think they do. Last year they had quite a few offers around Black Friday week including free postage I think.
selina25 · 12/11/2021 15:32

Can anyone recommend something like the spicery set but for Thai cooking? thinking recipe book plus selection of spices etc

Picklesbaby · 12/11/2021 15:46

@PinkDaydreams Awww 😩 thanks anyway . Il have a look there tomorrow!
I wouldn’t mind but thought I was free of her for at least another year so gave away a load in summer🤦🏻‍♀️

SpamIAm · 12/11/2021 15:50

Thanks to PP who mentioned the Hobbycraft £5 off voucher - I'd deleted the emails without reading them. For anyone else who needs to trawl their recycling bin, it was included in emails about "our favourite Christmas crafts" and one about 3 for 2 kids items.

WhyDoesItAlways · 12/11/2021 15:52

Thanks to this thread I've just chucked some milk and a spoonful of Nutella in my velvetiser. Oh my, it's lovely and much cheaper than the hotel Chocolat hot choc too.

Member212711 · 12/11/2021 15:56

Now wondering if I can do the same Nutella trick in our Lavazza Amodo Mio frothery thing. Don't see why not?! (very) teenage DS may love me forever if it works!

Home bargains defo have a yellow bus with Peppa and George figure and eight soft building blocks in the back of it. That's one of the things I donated and hb still sell as i was in there on Tuesday and saw it, can't remember how much it cost though sorry.

Thanks and to a pp. we’ll steer clear of Mario monopoly this time round but will check out the other suggestions.

I’ve always used code FREEDEL30 for Hotel Chocolat. I hope it still works. I thought it had a £30 min spend (as code suggests), but tried Googling it and nothing came up.
