iloveredwine · 01/11/2021 15:50

Mine asked for a bubble tea kit and art pencils

WhatonEarth1 · 01/11/2021 16:35

Giant beanbag (Lounge Pug and Charlie & Finn are good makes)
Ice cream machine (and recipe book for it)
Driving experience or zoo keeper experience
Digital photo frame
UV nail lamp

Saisong · 01/11/2021 16:41

Ear pods
Art stuff
Fairy lights or light rope
Bean bag
Jack Wills hoodies
3D crystal puzzles
Teen 'repair' kit - lots of fun toiletries in a bag (face masks, cleanser, lip balm, chocs etc)
Hot chocolate bombs
Sheepskin slippers
Binoculars
Escape room vouchers

ShowOfHands · 01/11/2021 16:42

Need to know a bit more about her really. DD has friends who like make up and hair stuff for example but would be really disappointed to receive those things herself. My DD likes art, politics, feminism, literature, archery and Victorian fashion but that doesn't mean your DD will!

The favourite gift here is always theatre tickets tbh.

Playdoughcaterpillar · 01/11/2021 16:43

Mine probably wants money for clothes shopping. Art supplies? Books? Loves toiletries like face masks, pamper stuff.

Tsuro · 01/11/2021 16:45

Tickets for an event such a concert, theatre or afternoon tea.

GirlWithAGuitar · 01/11/2021 16:52

As a pp said, it’s hard to suggest anything without knowing a bit more about her. At that age, some girls are really into clothes and makeup and some couldn’t care less.
My daughter is 12 and is really into art, traditional and digital. She has a drawing tablet but art supplies are always needed. We might get her some air pods but other than that she’s just asked for money as like your daughter, she already has a phone, tablet etc.
We did get her one of those mini photo printers last Xmas that she loves. And those peg string lights so she could put them up in her room which she really likes.

kissmelittleass · 01/11/2021 18:24

Bean bag, ice cream maker will be starting the list off ..thanks
She is not into make up, hair or nail stuff..yet!!!
She loves to bake, loves her rescue dog!, enjoys art, not into reading anymore sadly.
She has the neon light things in her room, not a fan of air pods she prefers earphones.
I'm thinking a one for all card but need presents to wrap als!! Such a hard age to buy for it was so easy not long ago to head into a toy shop and know she would love whatever she got, where are them days gone?!!!

GirlWithAGuitar · 01/11/2021 18:46

Photo gifts of our dogs are always well received, we’ve got things like blankets and mugs with photos of our dogs on, she might like those as she loves her dog. You can also get jewellery made with your dogs paw print on. We love dogs in our house. 😂

It is a difficult age, I miss the toys !

LaChatte · 01/11/2021 18:47

12 yo DD wants a graphics tablet (500€, not going to happen), a fitbit, manga. She loves art and drawing so for her birthday she got a lino set (just as something new to try) and a little manga mannequin that is super articulated for sketching different positions.

kissmelittleass · 01/11/2021 18:52

Some more great ideas thanks everyone 👍
Weighted blanket might be an idea, love the photo of her dog on cups, blankets idea too I think she would love that

My 12 yr old wants air pods, squishmallows and a sky light projector

Nevermindthefurball · 01/11/2021 19:09

Other DD got a photo printer when she was around that age. Didn’t use it much at the time but uses it loads now

WhatsMyNameGonnaBeNow · 01/11/2021 19:10

@LaChatte re the graphics tablet we were looking at the Wacom Intuos or the Wacom One which are both under £100. Ultimately we decided to put it on the “possibility” list for next year but they have good reviews. And the prices are much less eye watering than the pro ones!

SE13Mummy · 01/11/2021 19:19

FIMO and attachments to make keyrings etc
Pastel highlighters
Frixion pens
Mindfulness colouring books
Fidget toy things e.g. popping pea pods
An umbrella!
Spotify voucher
Trainers
Light projector thingy

In terms of art stuff, the Uhuhu alcohol markers are v popular in our house, along with the Uhuhu alcohol marker sketch pad. A nice mechanical pencil?

Scrabble duplicate reduced to £3.50 at argos

Passthecake30 · 01/11/2021 23:06

@LaChatte can I ask which manga mannequin you brought? Ds (13) is after one of thoseSmile

Dd (12) is getting an iPad keyboard, an apple/generic iPad pencil, possibly some clothes - she keeps growing and doesn’t appreciate her capsule wardrobe!

I got her the female Graph'it model. It's a bit fiddly and quite small, but once it's in position it's great!
