If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@WaitWhatOh they don’t - it says on their website they don’t, it’s because they’re a charity. But you can get a £15 voucher if you sign up to pay by direct debit. If you do go for it, it’s an amazing gift, we love our membership and get so much out of it.

weebarra · 27/10/2021 22:03

@Minionbums thanks for the brickinit code. Good stocking fillers for my lot, especially with Freddie from my horror obsessed teen!

weebarra · 27/10/2021 22:05

And yy to the national trust membership. We're in Scotland so we have national trust for Scotland but it's transferable to NT and English Heritage sites and vice versa.

@WaitWhatOh we have these ones, definitely leakproof and perfect to chuck in a rucksack

@waitWhatOh thank you for this, I have just ordered one of these mugs for my son for when we go on our walks

I missed this conversation but we have these & they are brilliant- a couple of ours are more than 5 years old & totally bashed up (one was dropped all the way down a long spiral stone staircase in a castle tower Grin) but still never leak & keep the drinks so hot I have to remember to make the kids ones a bit cool so they can actually drink them when the open them!

@Minionbums

My loves Lego and usually won’t accept compatibles like the Wilko stuff, he just likes actual Lego. BUT - he does like minifigures from werebrickinit.co.uk. They have some unusual ones, Disney ones, marvel, all sorts. They’ve even got Squid Game ones. They’ve now got 20% off orders over £10 using the code SPOOK20 until midnight on Sunday 31st. I’m going to order a few for stocking fillers - might be good for homemade advent calendars?

Thank you for this. Have just ordered a load of Harry Potter figures for DD1. She'll love them.
Lellyo · 27/10/2021 22:23

@2319inprogress wow this is good to hear. Should have added too, that I signed up for their email and got 10% off plus there was free delivery…made up

Minionbums · 27/10/2021 22:29

@2319inprogress can I ask about those mugs - how long do the drinks stay hot for? My husband has started going back into the office and is absolutely lagging with the early starts after so long at home, so was thinking of making him a hot drink the night before to save him time in the morning, but I don’t know if that’s even possible!

Purpleheadgirl · 27/10/2021 22:29

@WaitWhatOh you can pay £10 a month on direct debit rather than £120 in one go....but says not for gift membership.....but not sure how they'd know where your relative actually lived if you had it in their names at your address? Probably not entirely morally right but at the same time you still pay exactly the same to NT for exactly the same membership so they aren't missing out. Just forwards the cards/pack and few magazines onto them as received

torthecatlady · 27/10/2021 22:33

Argos emailed me this voucher for £9 off £90

I won't be using it, so if someone wants to give it a try you're welcome to it!

If you mean make it the night before to be drunk in the morning I think it would be good especially if you remember to preheat the mug (makes a huge difference). Made the night before for lunch I'm not really sure. I've certainly made hot drinks in the morning that have been forgotten/not needed & they have been hot in the evening.
And based on a temporarily lost one; hot drinks are about room temp after 48hrs Grin

Sorry that's a lot of waffle for I'm not sure!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 27/10/2021 22:49

@minionbums thank you for that website! Even if I don't buy anything the names of the figures have had me in stitches. Anyone for Italian and his mates? Or possibly gummy things, scared one and worry kid? Or Rat in his jumper? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Rockhopper81 · 27/10/2021 22:54

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts

I'm sitting here chuckling over the names, although I admit 'rat in his jumper' is actually super awesome! 😆

mummyof2boys30 · 27/10/2021 22:58

Best place to buy tonies characters and any suggestions which ones for 4 year old girl. Mine are long past that stage

DidYouFindYourCrumpetHoles · 27/10/2021 22:58

50% off Morphe on their website with code SUPERSALE
Just ordered 2 lip glosses, a lip oil and a mascara primer for £22 delivered (free delivery over £20)

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 27/10/2021 23:00

"Christmas Giz" and "Italian and his mates"

😂

nicky2512 · 27/10/2021 23:11

20% of some clothing at Asda includes Christmas jumpers and t shirts. Went on to buy Dd a new jumper and ended up with a silly Christmas t shirt that Ds will love.

Puffalicious · 28/10/2021 00:05

Anyone know if the Adidas codes are still live. DS has only now, 6 days after I asked him (!), decided on which trainers he would like!Hmm

thaegumathteth · 28/10/2021 00:16

Asda delivery slots are live now for non delivery pass holders @MahMahMahMahCorona was it you who was trying to get a slot?

Puffalicious · 28/10/2021 00:33

chillimice thanks for the BAM tip and 10% off. Their stuff is usually so pricey, but got 2 good deals with a really decent amount off. Brilliant.

Redwinestillfine · 28/10/2021 04:55

M&S beauty advent calendar live, £300 quids worth of stuff for £40 when you spend £30 on kids clothes or homeware I think it is. I needed to get kids pyjamas so happy with that. Advent calendar can be broken down into gifts too.

Brentmeister · 28/10/2021 06:42

@Puffalicious I couldn’t tell you about the codes but tesco have 15% off Adidas gift cards(think it’s e-cards online) so might be worth buying one of them anyway and you’ve save 15% straight away

Allhallowseve · 28/10/2021 06:55

Hi all I'm a bit late to the threads this year , as we've been a bit skint with a bathroom refurb. However Iv just had an unexpected back payment from work so I can start shopping !
My 7 year old has asked Santa for a PS5 Hmm- budget can't stretch for that really so was hoping for some wise mumsnetter recommendations of maybe where to buy second hand PS4 . As long as he can play fifa I don't think he will mind!

Laney79 · 28/10/2021 06:58

The entertainer codes £10 off £60 spend and £20 off £100 spend with SAVEMORE code

oatmilkisntsobad · 28/10/2021 07:22

Did anyone order from the link in previous thread for reduced Pandora rings? I'm very tempted but I'm getting a message saying that it's not a secure website

LikeSilver · 28/10/2021 07:34

Thanks @Minionbums, DS will love the Pokemon mini figures! Great find
