Any thoughts for the main meal? I’ve got so guests who are vegan / veggie. I’m still waiting for the final details of what the dietary requirements are but want to get some ideas together in advance.

How many are you cooking for @Darker, how many eat meat vs vegan, vs vegetarian?

I am vegetarian myself, but we usually have both meat & veggie options

I’d do a nut roast as it can be made ahead, roasties in olive oil, the veg will be vegan (get some vegan margarine in and add butter/marg at end as appropriate)

I’d do a veg based starter if you are having one to make life easy, and buy in a vegan option for dessert & have 1 other non vegan dessert this assumes you are making a meat main too)

You can buy a lot of the sides like gravy, pigs in blankets etc which I would for ease

What’s tricky is getting it all on the table at the same time hence simplifying a bit . Do you have 2 ovens?

I'm actually not sure of individual requirements. I'm not going to get too fashed about the details just yet because Covid could scupper our plans anyway, but I want some ideas so that I can be prepared and do a couple of trial runs if I decide to serve something new.

Came on to say the marks and spencer plant kitchen frozen mains are fab. We did a dry run over last 2 weekends lol with the beetroot one and the nut roast one. Freezer now restocked for the big day!

I'm thinking of Jamie's cranberry & pistachio nut roast. I've made it a couple of times before but this year I have to make it vegan as well as gluten free. Loads of veggies to go with it, especially red cabbage.

Best to ask what they like. Veggie DD2 is happy with roast root veg, stuffing, Bisto red gravy and Linda Mcartney sausages. Vegan DD1 would eat the same, but has also had things like roast stuffed butternut or some sort of vegan Wellington.
DH and i eat meat.
