Just curious really, but also searching for ideas. So what are you getting for either yours or others children this year? And ages to make it easier :)

@LittleTwiglet

For the three year old what about a few schleich animals. My nearly 3 year old loves the sharks and whales we have for the bath, so I've got her a dolphin and sea turtle (papo one) for her stocking this year

3 yo:
Lift the flaps/look inside books
Story books
Colouring book
Crayola set
Not brought yet, but a puzzle/shapes arranging game

1.5 y.o
Some lift the flaps books
Will have some additional farm animals
Something crayon related - some nice wax crayons probably.

Between then something else e.g a farm rug or stable or something

Not a huge amount, as they don't want anything at this age. 3 year old has a sudden interest in a TV program so I may try and get a play set on marketplace or something.

Neices, 10 and 8
Books
Sticker books
Bedroom decorations

Neice a d nephew, 4 and 2
Matching t shirts
A game based on each of their favourite characters
Craft supplies

Quite book heavy, but mine and nieces all love books!

Teenage GC - money it goes into their savings and they buy something when they need/want something.

Little GC - money to parents and they either buy something the children want or put it in savings as appropriate.

Very little GC = money in their savings accounts.

There seems to be a theme Confused

What do people prefer when it comes to Duplo or Playmobil, I see lots about the Playmobil Zoo. We tried megablocks but they've ended up just sitting there.

@littletwiglet my DD preferred duplo when younger and is now obsessed with lego!

I think it depends on how DC prefer to play but duplo seems good because it can be more varied for play, and great to add to :)

The main gifts I'm getting my two....

11yr old:
-A battle bots pro arena with battle bots
-Lego

8yr old
-a Playmobil castle
-Lego

I also got them as a joint gift an animation camera so they can make little stop motion movies. There will be other assorted bits.

I'm thinking about getting them a table hockey game too...but haven't decided

Cannot believe how much Lego has gone up in price since I was younger!
