Love Booths Christmas food! I wouldn't do my weekly shop in there but it's perfect for special occasions and treats. Blows M&S out of the water!

I’m far too poor to shop in Booths generally but I went into my local before Christmas last year, the person greeting and handing out baskets at the door said something about 100 and a golden ticket but I couldn’t hear properly as we were both wearing masks. Anyway, the very well to do lady in front of me went one way round the tomato’s and I went the other way AND SHE FOUND THE GOLDEN TICKET! £100 Booths voucher for her and nothing for me. I’m still not over it 😭😭😭
I was obviously pleased for her not really but she looked rich enough to do all her shopping in Booths all the time. It would have made my entire Christmas 😭😭😭
I did NOT get a Booths book, that would have been rubbing salt in my wounds 😩🤣

But the golden ticket was in the books that you walked past on the way in! If you walked in at the same time as her you might've won it had you picked up the book!!!

I’ve been to the booths in knutsford and actually thought it was pretty scruffy! I didn’t get the hype. I’ve certainly been in better Waitrose’s.

It wasn’t in the books, it was hidden amongst the potatoes so she found it by going the right way round the tomatoes!

It was in the book all along and she just looked when she was by the spuds?! I’ll go in every bloody day for a book this December if that’s the case! I want to be like Charlie Bucket 😆

DBro lives in Cumbria. He knows to snaffle me a Booths Christmas Book as soon as they appear. Ddad and I collect all the Christmas books every year but Booths is the best.....

I didn't check my books until further round. Don't want to stop in the doorway and get in the way.
