I think I want an Alexa for DD. I know people on here have got them in the past. Any advice on when/where to get one? Is prime day the best option?

The alexa devices are currently reduced - both 3rd and 4th generation ones. I haven't been following prices so I'm not sure how much more they would be likely to drop, but the 3rd generation one is around the same price that I paid on a deal (although it should be cheaper now, as it's an older one anyway) you could check out the 3🐫 to see if it's a good price - or someone more knowledgeable will probably be along soon!

The radio is mostly pop and Disney, I recognise most of it so it must be a lot of 80s and 90s music mostly good though

@sweetpeapods Same here, I think for my eldest I will get her the proper Oodie, as she is the same size as me and I can 'borrow' it. For the younger ones I'll get the Next ones as they never seem to be that cold or bothered too much by the cold. Will be interesting to see the quality difference!

@TheCrow it was a bigger store and I would agree the Halloween section has been rubbish this year! I don't go to that one very often but if I end up back there I'll pick up another. Do you think it's worth a call to see if they'd post one?

Amazon have the Shimmer and Sparkle Luna make up doll reduced from £9.99 to £3.50. My 6yo got one for her birthday, they'd make a decent stocking stuffer.

The Dunelm oodie thing is bloody roasting. I've had to take mine off the couple of times I've worn it so far. Will be good when it's colder and we can't afford to put the bloody heating on. It's really soft but not long though, if that's what you like.

Before I buy, do kids need elbow and knee pads for first scooters? DS will be 3 in January and is getting a Christmas scooter, I don't see kids with these pads on around here though? He will be having a helmet of course. He is fairly clumsy if that helps, due to carelessness rather than ability

We didn't get DD knee and elbow pads for her first scooter. She wasn't massively adventurous on it though so you may need extra padding if your wee one is.
