If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@buckeejit, there are a few personalised Star Wars keyrings on Etsy. Just search for 'personalised Star Wars keyring UK', and remember to go through TopCashBack!

The Romanian wine gets better the more of it you drink!

1stTimeMama · 13/10/2021 20:25

@RunningKatie and @NaturalBlondeYeahRight, thanks both! More options to ponder now, and then I'll not be able to decide!

Puffalicious · 13/10/2021 20:31

Secret Sales are the best price for the converse I need (£42) + free delivery, which is great. I've never used them. Anyone used then to say if they're reliable?

Someaddedsugar · 13/10/2021 20:38

Remember to check any cash back deals you might have with your bank - Lloyds are offering 10% at Lands End and Seasalt, 25% with a Kindle Unlimited subscription and 10% at Harvey Nichols (online only) along with a load of other cash back deals. I think they double up if you go through Quidco/TCB etc too!

Rockhopper81 · 13/10/2021 20:47

@bizzey

I love them - they make me smile looking at them! I do wonder how hardy they would be - basically, would they survive is next door's cat decided to investigate them??

Twilightstarbright · 13/10/2021 20:48

@NoWordForFluffy glad you found them!

MeredithGreyishblue · 13/10/2021 20:50

@Saintemllionsfinest

The RNLI letters in the background are made up of tiny names too.

It would be really helpful if when people say thank you for the (generic) code if they include the code, I’m sure it’s not just me that scrolls back waaaaay too much, thanks xx

MeredithGreyishblue · 13/10/2021 20:54

@VaprousDropProfound yes but I've done it as a gift for my Granny with her late husband's name.

That tends to be the way 😂

Was planning to give them as teacher gifts but perhaps will rethink that one!

20% off at The Happy Puzzle Company using the code 42AW3. Might be single use

or a possible 40% off with HAPPY21
Some really good puzzles and games for the hard-to-buy-for.

Newforestdonkey · 13/10/2021 21:16

Could I kindly ask for a Lakeland code if anyone has one going spare? I think I have a £60 basket of chocolates at the moment, and half are for me!

Puffalicious · 13/10/2021 21:18

Anyone know of any John Lewis codes? DS3 needs a new, winter jacket and I dislike paying full price Grin

MarshmallowsOnToast · 13/10/2021 21:37

@IggyAce

Link to Lisa Angel sale, enjoy.
Brill!

Personalised sacks 50% off!

Joining the discussion on reusable wrapping - last year and this year I bought boxes & tins from poundland/b&m. I use these for clothes, or I wrap small bits in tissue paper. I then put them away with the christmas stuff to reuse. My dds are older now though, so less big boxes. And I previously bought a lot second hand so worked well for me.
Like this www.poundshop.com/christmas-eve-box-twas-the-night-before-christmas.html?___store=default&refSrc=127928&nosto=nosto-page-product1-copy

You can get all sorts of sizes.

Stocking I use sweet bags which can be recycled. Ive got brown kraft paper for the rest of the gifts this year. Then I use personalised stickers to distinguish between dd1 and dd2. Usually favourite character or animal on them.

I'm trying to cut down on unnecessary plastic and rubbish.

woodwaj · 13/10/2021 21:55

@Puffalicious I've used them quite a bit & have never had a problem. I'm pretty sure if you make an account or else sign up to their newsletter, they send you a discount code for money off your first purchase

Puffalicious · 13/10/2021 22:04

Thanks tabbycat

Minionbums · 13/10/2021 22:08

I’m on the hunt for those glass pumpkin bowls - I’ve got one and my friend likes it. Good to know they’re still out there, I’ll keep trying my local ones

Once the lifeboat is finished, you'll get the opportunity to buy a print of the letter or number in which your loved ones name is included. It's a lovely thing to have
