I’m looking for some- ideally long rolls, fairly traditional (not cartoonish). Any recommendations? I had some in my JL basket but sadly they all sold out before I could check out.

Great to see so many people recommending recycled and recyclable / plastic free paper.

The pop up Cards for Charity shops (which give a high percentage to charity) always have a good selection

And get people to unwrap carefully, so when you've found one you like you can reuse it in following year/s

I ordered the Next green/natural yesterday, they have packs with different colours/themes which include bows, tags and raffia/ribbon. Was impressed.

@JaninaDuszejko

Reusable bags is a great idea! Really good if that could 'catch on'

I’ve just bought mine from Paperchase - three for two on which is also handy!

I got a 12m roll from B&M for £1 the other day, and it's good quality too.

I use Cox&Cox every year for wrapping paper and ribbon. Long rolls of navy paper with copper stars and accompanying gold and bronze ribbons. Very good quality thick paper.

@JumperandJacket the wide rolls from Waitrose are usually great prints and quality. They're different to the JL designs.

I usually get 2 different fun designs for each DC for their presents from Santa. Then I don't need labels to know which present is for which child.

Haven't seen any in store yet!

I got some 10m rolls from b&m - a lilacy one with a unicorn snow globe type design, and a silver one with gingerbread houses, santa, sweets etc on.

Kinshipped paper is absolutely gorgeous and amazing quality.

Just to save me a trip in to Leeds, does anyone know if john Lewis and marks and Spencer have their christmas wrapping paper out in store yet?? Thank you!

FlatteredFool · 12/10/2021 05:31

Ooooh I love wrapping paper! I still have some from last year but it won't be enough. The Waitrose navy with gold stars was lovely and I also used it for birthday presents. I had a very classy look about it. I'd love to use more reusable bags this year or fabric. Dd is into all things Japanese and has a Christmas birthday so I'm thinking of wrapping her gifts the furoshiki way.
I don't like unwrapping presents but love wrapping them and seeing them piled under the Christmas tree 🎄

I ordered some from WHSmiths and they just emailed to say it went out of stock after I ordered! It was the one roll I wanted from the big order I added to get over the free delivery!
