I’ve just come across a website called guitarsbaby.com which appears to sell Lego at ridiculously cheap prices (eg £16 vs £160 elsewhere). I’m assuming it has to be a scam - but wondered if anyone had ever used it?

@2lostsouls googling guitarsbaby reviews comes up with several stories and reviews about it being a scam website

@2lostsouls Scam.doc gives it a trust score of 1% which is the lowest you can get, The domain name is very recent (less than 6 months), Short life expectancy domain, This domain name is linked to one or more countries known for being used by fraudulent websites. The owner identification is also hidden, but suggests possibly China. Avoid.

Worth checking.

Do we know if the Sainsbury's toy sale is happening next week? It would normally be around those dates. I'll be rather annoyed if they scrap that on top of double up!

I got some light up shortbread tins! Far too excited about that. Nice teacher gifts I think. They also had loads of the Percy Christmas stuff in too but DS has way too much choc already for Christmas.

For the poster who was looking for a small gift for nephew. There are kits for cars ie small first aid, aa glass breaker. I think I bought a tool kit to shove in the boot for my niece.

My daughter has started secondary and has a december birthday. Looking at a laptop for joint xmas and bday for her. Is it worth waiting until black Friday. Any suggestions of something decent.

Oh and if people aren't too fussed about sell by dates. Approved food does loads of stuff and great offers. Worth keeping an eye out as they throw really good bargains in. Hotel Chocolat, beauty products. Sometimes they do mystery hampers for £1. I was buying hotel chocolat salted caramel hot chocolate full size tubs for £2 last year, normally they are around £20!

Sainsburys toy sale starts three weeks this coming Tuesday. Insider info as sister works for them

About Approved foods, as the pp above said there are bargains but please check against other places before buying from them. I got lots of items that were past sell by dates for the same price of normal supermarkets, so never again.

@Newforestdonkey I got a lot of gravitraxast year on Black Friday via Amazon so worth keeping a check around that time :)

Also manhatten toys baby Stella dolls are very loved here too and come with a magnetic dummy / bottle. Again we have 2 and Dd got one as her first doll for her first birthday. They are still very loved
