If you’re posting anything specifically for Reastie please do @reastie or She may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I'm rubbish at short links hopefully someone can help?

Saw this magazine in supermarket today - it is £7 and has all sorts of puzzles etc as well as help in game - might be good for anyone giving this game as a gift this year ? Aimed at 7-11 years old

@HermannlovesPauline

Does anyone have any recommendations on a water flosser? Are they any good?
I like the idea of these, but I can't get the thought out of my head, that they spray everywhere, and I'll end up having to clean the bathroom mirror of spittle every day Sad Hopefully someone will come along that uses one, that can enlighten us.

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight

Do oodie types thing exist for under 5’s? I have three to buy for but don’t want to get toys and suddenly thought this might be a nice idea.
You could have a look at 'Huggle Pets' as they are supposed to be suitable from age 3+. Not posting a link as I haven't yet researched the suppliers, but will come up if you Google. I liked the idea that they fold up into a soft cushion type toy when not being worn. Maybe someone else has one and could give a review?

Which game is this? Like animal crossing or is it on the phone? Looks like something mine would be into
WayneBruce · 02/10/2021 12:59

I love mine (as does my dentist) but if you have teeth v close together like me, you may still need to use interdental brushes at the back.
You will spray the whole bathroom a couple of times in the first week and then you will be fine.

PenguinTattoo · 02/10/2021 13:06

We've got the same issue, a grabby toddler. However, several years ago, when DD was at the same stage, we use the baby pen to create a "Christmas tree cage". It meant DD could get close, under supervision, but we could also have the tree up. You should just be able to see the top of the cage, at the bottom of the photo.

@Room4onemore re: magic mixies, its hard to tell because of delivery uncertainty right now whether it will come down in price. It's been billed as a popular toy but it's price may put buyers off for what is an unboxing toy. We've had a request for one too shes put a post it note on the Smyths catalogue page. it was only released yesterday so I'd keep an eye on stock and the retailers selling it, Amazon (seem to have the highest price), Smyths (only blue, awaiting stock of pink), Argos and Littlewoods. If it doesn't sell to well the price may come down I guess.

@recklessgran

Good grief! Just back from a week in Crete and I've missed 2 whole threads! Anyway please can your collective minds help me out with this one? I'm looking for "mini me" pyjamas - ladies size 12 and girls 5-6. There are lots about but I would like them to be NOT Christmas themed, not pink and preferably long sleeved [and bargainous of course]. I don't know why but I'm struggling to find the right thing. Many thanks in advance.
Peacocks have some matching mini me pjs. You have to look at the women's and the children's separately because they don't seem to promote the kids ones on the women's nightwear pages or v.v.

Thank you for the snorkel recommendation @MissCherryCakeyBun

Billyandemily · 02/10/2021 13:46

Next do oversized hoodies (like oodies) for under 5's

MissMarple0203 · 02/10/2021 13:47

@Ewock

Does anyone know where I can get Barbie sized play food etc. My daughter has got really into Barbie and has the cafe but would like more bits and pieces such as food and crockery etc.
Have a look on Etsy etc...you might have more look if you search for Maileg Food (Etsy sellers do their own version of items for Maileg mice) but it would be the same size for barbie - hope that makes sense
buckeejit · 02/10/2021 13:47

Yes, we used a wooden 'baby jail' round out tree when our two were toddlers!

I bought this unicorn hoodie for my 4 (nearly 5yo) last year, and she still brings it out now and then to wear - she's tall for her age, and it still fits nicely. Not double lined like an Oodie, but plenty warm for a kid. Think you can sometimes get them slightly cheaper (c£12?) on lightening deals
