If you’re posting anything specifically for Reastie please do @reastie or She may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I'm rubbish at short links hopefully someone can help?

Hoping for some recommendations

I'm after a nice blanket for a friend who is having regular hospital treatments in a recliner chair, she has a drip in one arm and blood pressure monitor on the other so oodies etc aren't suitable

Ideally a darkish colour and easy to wash, not too bulky to carry but nice and snuggly to bring a bit of comfort

Thanks

MarshmallowsOnToast · 02/10/2021 08:43

@NoWordForFluffy

Bloody hell, you lot are a bad influence...I seem to have purchased a Nutcracker runner! 🙈🤣 Xmas Grin
Me too! 🙈

But to be fair I was eyeing it up last year but it was constantly out of stock.

Don't think we can have our tree out this year with a very curious (and grabby) toddler so looking for ways to Christmas the house that can't be pulled over!

Also noticed they have the Nutcracker rug in pink but not in stock yet.

MissMarple0203 · 02/10/2021 08:47

Does anyone know when Dunelm has there 20% offer?

Yeknom · 02/10/2021 08:48

I'm a sheep, went to look at the nutcracker runners and have now seen that I need ALL of the Christmas bedding!

Billyandemily · 02/10/2021 08:49

I got a ‘Waltons pompom trim blanket’ in mulberry/mauve/aubergine colour from a random garden centre in wales! It’s lovely and soft, washes fantastically well and dries quickly. I paid £25 but it’s Here for £22.50.
OrdinaryLife · 02/10/2021 08:54

@superstar84 I bought a wrap in m and s similar to this www.marksandspencer.com/woven-tassel-poncho/p/clp60506388?intid=mobile_app_pdp_share to take to chemo treatments last winter rather than take a blanket - I saw loads in tkmaxx as well

Riverhouse · 02/10/2021 08:59

@superstar84 I bought this a few years ago for my aunt and it was lovely.

Hey folks, don’t forget it’s Super Seconds Saturday today for crafty bargains! I’ve got my eye on Robin’s Bobbins for some things for the dressing up box - we’ve had things from her before and they’re fab www.supersecondssaturday.co.uk/

Givealittlebit · 02/10/2021 09:10

@RainbowPhilosophy the aldi hampers are online if any of them would be suitable? Usually really good value for money and get great reviews!

Givealittlebit · 02/10/2021 09:11

Also just to say there's still a sale on for red letter days, and 12.something % cash back with Quidco! Have added my referral code on the referral thread, buts it a a nice way to get some money back and make it more of a bargain!

peepholepringle · 02/10/2021 09:25

@Homerenonovice
Coffee pod advent calendars. Nespresso do one every year for around£30 available from the Nespresso site. They looked lovely last year and had a great variety in.
Sainsbury's did a Nespresso compatible pod advent last year. It was £7 then went down to £3.50 in late November.

NightOwl19 · 02/10/2021 09:34

I ventured out to my local Claire's accessories and there sales/offers were rubbish! Jealous of the bargains everyone is getting from there.

Homerenonovice · 02/10/2021 09:36

@gaggiagirl thank you, I’ll check them out. Don’t drink coffee myself so have no clue.

Kollamoolitumarellipawkyrollo · 02/10/2021 09:36

Please can people link to the original comments or when thanking for an idea? Makes it so much easier than searching for the original link or shop!

IggyAce · 02/10/2021 09:47

@MarshmallowsOnToast how about getting a wall hanging felt tree for your toddler the did them in Hobbeycraft last year and they come with a selection of felt decorations. Might mean they leave the main tree alone. I was lucky my dcs didn’t bother touching the tree they used to be transfixed by the lights.

DamitJamit · 02/10/2021 09:48

To anyone searching for a colin advent calender Ocado seem to have them? It might be worth a check if you can put a shopping order together with them

CamdenLurker · 02/10/2021 09:57

My Turtle Doves order arrived today, I requested wrist warmers to match the beanie I order and then I was also offered a neck warmer for £19, which i took, was supposed to be a gift but I'm so happy with them that I'm thinking of keeping it all.

Cyberjammies have an eBay shop which is worth looking at.
I got my daughter and full set and I just got a top which is the same and I wear with plain bottoms

RJnomore1 · 02/10/2021 10:10

Watch out for an email from hotel chocolat; they’re doing a new £25 a month subscription service and sent me a code to try it for £10 delivered.

It looks one use and I’m going to use it also you will need to remember to cancel but it looks worth it for some stocking fillers or just nice chocolate, you can pick mixed, mellow, dark etc packs

dizzygirl1 · 02/10/2021 10:13

@homerenonovice check what machine they have, nespresso have 2 types of pods - 1 (the original) you can buy from supermarkets, amazon and nespresso, 1 (the vertuo) you can only get pods from nespresso.
Then there are tassimos etc

dizzygirl1 · 02/10/2021 10:15

@homerenonovice I've just seen you're actual post 🤦‍♀️ and that it's your DH with a nespresso. Check his machine and what pods he has. Nespresso calendar is released in 5 or 6 days, there is a countdown on their websits

toffeeshock · 02/10/2021 10:27

If anyone knows of an H&M code I’d be very grateful. I’ve been waiting for weeks with no sign of an offer - they used to email regularly with offers when I didn’t need anything and now that I do...
