If you’re posting anything specifically for Reastie please do @reastie or She may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I'm rubbish at short links hopefully someone can help?

@DinosaurOfFire I haven’t got much info other than ‘rainbow high doll’ - I might go for the better one. I’ve noticed that they don’t get reduced very often, I might have to just go for it Shock

Studio have some great wooden personalised toys right now, and I used Honey (which applies codes automatically) and got free delivery and about £15 off. It seemed to used 032 as the code.

Hope it works!

handmademitlove · 01/10/2021 13:10

@Ourlady my DS has an Ender 3, which has been great. Came recommended by several people. Is often on offer.

IDontDrinkTea · 01/10/2021 13:15

@ourlady I second getting an Ender 3. We have one and it works great

I'll third the Ender 3 as well. DH has had his for 4 years now. You do have to build the printer yourself, but there is an excellent video guide on YouTube, just search for "Tomb of the 3D printer"

HaggisTheGreat · 01/10/2021 13:26

Ooh, I am intrigued by the 3D printer idea. What do you actually use it for? And does it get used a lot?

Ourlady · 01/10/2021 13:27

Oh you lot are bloody fab, thank you so much for the recommendation. It looks like the Ender 3 is the one to go for. Much appreciated😘

BestofLuck · 01/10/2021 13:31

I'm intrigued by the Ender 3 too. DS has been saying he is saving up for one for a while. I'm a bit clueless though. I know it's good for those interested in technology and design, etc but what can you actually make with it? Not keen if it's used to produce a load of stuff made from plastic but, like I say, I'm clueless Smile

IggyAce · 01/10/2021 13:53

DH has printed an entire model village our DD plays with, dolls house furniture, a marble run, lots of things for his Warhammer habit, personalised coasters, make-up dividers for the cupboard, plant holders, a sheep toilet roll holder, and snowflake Christmas tree ornaments. My BIL got such green eyes, that he purchased one too.

If someone in your family gets a 3D printer, you're set for presents for the next FOREVER. 1 kg spools of filament (PLA to begin with, then some of the special effect filaments), and the sets of replacement nozzles. Then you can move onto upgraded parts. Likewise, just about every part of the Ender 3 is replaceable, so can be repaired.

My husband uses it to make my daughter stuff - recently he’s made her hey duggee cookie cutters for example. You can make all sorts of things with them really, it isn’t necessarily cheaper by the time you’ve paid for the filament but he loves the satisfaction of making it for her
dementedma · 01/10/2021 14:58

50% of some Joules stuff in the sale( via ebay)

Cherryrainbow · 01/10/2021 15:04

Good toy bargains in tesco atm especially with club card.

We picked up a hey duggee doctor kit for £10 and an emmi doll and doctor kit for £12.

They were sold out of the sylvanian families house and accessories set at £35 (Blue roof House, normally £70).

They had a nice kitchen playset for £25 and a red car ride on for £50 - I think electric? As normally £100

Frozen toddler doll and accessories for £17.50 as well, both Anna and elsa x

@Icantfindanewname

Ocado have opened their Christmas delivery slots today. I went on at 6:45 and there was ONE left Shock
Luckily puppy woke at 3.20 and after braving wind and rain and a very spooked pup I logged on and got one for 23rd. The only advantage of a pup at the moment 😉

Thanks so much for posting this - I've just sorted the kids' teachers presents Grin

PeachTea1 · 01/10/2021 15:20

@sorryiasked it looks like they've put the minimum spend up to £15 - I just put a lip balm in my basket and was able to get the discount.

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 01/10/2021 15:21

I'm really confused about school teacher presents. DS has gone to nursery this year and I have no idea how many TAs there are. Sometimes DS says four, but I wonder if there are more. I'm not quite sure what to do
