@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

There seems to be a lot more little nice bits in the M&S Christmas food catalogue that aren't available to pre-order online. So those of you who are disappointed in the offerings, try & pick up a copy of the catalogue (is that the right word?).

@Reastie nearly time for a new thread.

Regarding Hollister what is there sizing like? Teen likes a couple of things but haven’t brought from them before.

katemuff · 28/09/2021 21:24

@Starrycolors23

I just got a free pasta making kit that’s £40 usually by ordering on Pasta Evangelists. Ordered some yummy lobster ravioli for me and thought the kit would be useful for someone who likes cooking. It has a cook book too!

Code is: chef

Where do I find this @Starrycolors23 I have tried popping the code on an order of pasta and also putting the £40 kit in my basket and can't see any other ref to the code on the site so I'd really appreciate advice :) thank you

M&S Homemade hamper items for less than £20. You can get a posher hot chocolate for a pound or two more, but my relative likes the sachets.

Also from M&S, white biscuit tin is £5.

Has anyone see the Colin the caterpillar advent calendars in store yet?
Thanks for the M&S jam tip. Going to grab one for mil to go with the tea, biscuits & mugs I’ve got her and pop into a hamper.

IggyAce · 28/09/2021 21:38

Asda have Haig Club 1lt for £20, my dh assures me it’s a bargain and that it’s a nice smooth whiskey.

VolcanicProtectorMan · 28/09/2021 21:49

@IggyAce I’m a 5ft 4 size 10 in pretty much everywhere else and Medium fits me in Hollister stuff, I have a few of the fleece-lined leggings (best things ever) and a playsuit.

Reastie · 28/09/2021 21:49

Thank you @IggyAce . I’m having a nightmare bedtime this evening. I’ll set up a new thread in the morning, but if needed earlier, please do feel free anyone to start one up 👍🏻

Was there a jelly cat bargain rabbit quite a few threads back? Is it long gone or has anyone seen any good deals on one for my 1 year old nephew?

I'm afraid they've gone for the meantime...

Could you tell me how you got this please? Would be great for a friend.

Thread moving so fast but in case no one has already mentioned Argos have some good bits in the 2 for £15 on toys section.

Includes some lovely looking 3D Harry Potter puzzles of Gringots, the joke shop and others

@SylviaTrench

Re M&S food; the big tins of Belgian biscuits are currently £10, light-up tin of tea £4, Christmas merry cherry jam is £1.80, add in a box of hot chocolate sachets at £2.50. For less than £20 it's a nice homemade hamper idea for elderly people.
Never mind elderly people, I'd be delighted if someone gave me that! Thanks for the inspiration!
woodwaj · 28/09/2021 22:03

For anyone that's recently ordered from hype have you had your order or even a dispatch email? I ordered on 23rd and haven't received anything other than a confirmation email yet!

EvilHerbivore · 28/09/2021 22:04

Does anyone have any insider knowledge of when the other supermarket Christmas slots might be open to book? Sainsbury's in particular?

NewPoncingName · 28/09/2021 22:06

The pasta evangelist offer seems to add automatically, I just tried it out - you have to spend over £13 & add the code, first time I tried it brought me up a notice to say it'd been added but wouldn't show in my basket, may be sent separately.

VolcanicProtectorMan · 28/09/2021 22:08

For those who are putting together beauty/make up advents, Lottie London are doing a 31 piece make up bundle for £33ish (£29.99 plus P&P) with code ‘DUPE’ at checkout. The shades are chosen by them so may not be ideal colour wise, but seems a good deal, it says its worth £195.

Did those disappointed with the M&S Christmas food fail to spot Colin the elf caterpillar cake?

That code is just getting me 1p off 🤣
xmasdealhunter · 28/09/2021 22:17

@woodwaj i've just received my dispatch email today, they do seem to be taking a few days to send them out x

woodwaj · 28/09/2021 22:19

Thanks @xmasdealhunter I will keep my eyes peeled!

Adelais · 28/09/2021 22:22

I don’t suppose anyone’s ordered one of these oodie type things from Next for their kids? I’m just wondering what the quality/ size is like? Thinking of getting one for dd8.

nicky2512 · 28/09/2021 22:25

@CharlieWeasley I got a big one for my 15 year old son last year.
I bought it with money off round this time. I don’t think it got any cheaper after that but not certain.
It’s used loads and is great quality. I was very pleased with it.
