@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Vodafone codes thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@PissedOffNeighbour22

Is anyone else having trouble with the Tapo smart plug Amazon code? I've added the code and it has a green tick and says to type it in at the checkout, but then it doesn't accept it.
I changed the delivery option to free one day instead of free next day and it then worked for me
Motherofplants · 28/09/2021 19:35

@xmasdealhunter no he uses his laptop :/ I'm thinking a sodastream now though, he drinks soda but hates the plastic waste? Maybe see if they go on Black Friday.

Sorry I'm not read up on short links! But you can follow through from that one to find the others on sale Grin

Thanks found it now 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎅🏻

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 28/09/2021 19:46

@oatmilkisntsobad Thanks. I've got it working now. Amazon codes always seem to be a pain to use.

Scout2016 · 28/09/2021 19:48

Do Jaques of London ever do free delivery, under £40? I want a £5.99 item but delivery is £3.95. It's a snakes and ladders that spirals round rather than running in rows, seems to be only them has an OK price one.

Starrycolors23 · 28/09/2021 19:52

I just got a free pasta making kit that’s £40 usually by ordering on Pasta Evangelists. Ordered some yummy lobster ravioli for me and thought the kit would be useful for someone who likes cooking. It has a cook book too!

Code is: chef

How do you do the thing where you put someone else's message in quotes to repeat it? But another shout out here for bubble tea ideas/ discounts. Great idea for teenager.

On my phone (not the app), click the three dots at the bottom of a post, then click “quote”
whoknows1230 · 28/09/2021 20:03

That’s meant to say “I click”

Press the 3 little dots at the bottom of somebodies post and then click quote post. Can’t quote a quoted post though, annoyingly!

@Scout2016 Jaques of London sell on Amazon so you can get prime delivery, if there are other Amazon things you need.

SweetPeaPods · 28/09/2021 20:19

Anyone else not wowed by M&S Christmas food this year? Not sure if it's because the good stuff has gone or if they just haven't got the same range this year.

SweetPeaPods · 28/09/2021 20:21

Ds is really into spy ninjas. Any suggestions for related presents, clothing etc?

I wasn't overly, but I have gift vouchers to use so went for a few bits, I wouldn't have bothered otherwise I don't think!

On the app on my phone you click the < arrow at top right of the individual post and click the quote option
Daisy829 · 28/09/2021 20:45

It’s official. I am done! Well I’ve just got to get my mum something but I’ll wait to find out what she would like. Just placed a smyths order for the main items my girls have asked for. There doesn’t seem to be any sign of discount codes so thought I’d crack on so we didn’t miss out.
Merry Xmas everyone. Will keep posting any bargains I see. Time to start wrapping!

Check the price though
@Scout2016
- I found a lot of things were much more expensive on Amazon than direct. So actually worth making up an order to £40 or paying the delivery!

Summerbreeze4 · 28/09/2021 20:54

@tiggles thank you, I think I will now be a convert, I know I missed lots of posts about Oodies, I ignored them as didn't know what there were. Where there any particular vouchers codes anyone can remember?

Does anyone know if or when there will be a sale on the Lisa Angel site?
I bought some nice bits last year and hope to get some bargains again.

SylviaTrench · 28/09/2021 20:59

Re M&S food; the big tins of Belgian biscuits are currently £10, light-up tin of tea £4, Christmas merry cherry jam is £1.80, add in a box of hot chocolate sachets at £2.50.
For less than £20 it's a nice homemade hamper idea for elderly people.

Lisa Angel usually does a great Black Friday sale. Not sure how early it starts, a week before ish?
CharlieWeasley · 28/09/2021 21:04

Anyone ever bought bean bags from Big Bertha? They have some really nice childrens bean bag chairs. Is it worth waiting til Black Friday do you think?

DoucheCanoe · 28/09/2021 21:07

@SweetPeaPods I have a spy ninja nut too.

They have an official merch page, overpriced of course but my DD got a hoodie and t-shirt (the red and black one Chad one) from there for her birthday and it's decent quality. They do all sorts.

There is a Ninja starter and Zorgo infiltration kit being released exclusively at Smyth's soon too. £24.99 each though Hmm

She also has a CWC bum bag from eBay that she uses too. Although we filled it with generic "spy" stuff - magnifying glass, binoculars, pen torch, mini post its, small flip mirror. Nothing pricey.

Thanks for this. Having placed my order for click and collect of the Christmas dinner, today, I'm going to venture out and procure all the above for my parents. Great idea!
