@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

These threads have been a life saver for me, I've almost managed to overbuy some people!

I'm struggling with DP though, whose birthday is within several days of xmas. I've got a big lego (taking a punt) and Bourbon for birthday, and a single malt for Xmas and a few stocking fillers (chocolate, more whiskey - more needed, I might get some individual fancy beers?) but I need something else for Christmas. He likes whiskey, gaming, and gigs. The catch is that we both have extremely little time with extra studying/small businesses on top of full time jobs (he hasn't read the book I got him last year!) and we have another baby on the way early 2022! Any ideas?! He insists that all he wants is whisky and the boxing day lie in Grin

Ripleys believe it or not 2022 annual is £10 on Amazon

5Minions2CallMyOwn · 28/09/2021 12:16

Re the Asda promotion for £10 off a £60 spend initially DH couldn’t load it and it did say not valid but then when I looked online it was still showing on their main page as valid so he tried again and it loaded

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight

Thank for the moonpig code - it even worked on a personalised card for nephew. Also someone up thread found the tapo smart plug - I use those and find them very easy to use. Love turning all my Xmas lights off by using Alexa rather than crawling under tree every night!
What a great idea @NaturalBlondeYeahRight.

For any Harry Potter fans, just picked up this fun HP themed hot water bottle for £7 from B&M

Can anyone recommend a good coffee advent calendar, please?
We’ve had Pact for a few years which is great, but would like to try something different this year for a change.
Thank you!

Wow, I've got some catching up to do. I can't believe that I used to be searching for minecraft/star wars/lego/claires accessories bargains when I first joined these threads and now I have a 17 and 20 year old!

Tempted by the giraffe toilet roll holder for dd except she doesn't have her own home just a room in a shared house. But she recently started working at Lion King and is always telling me about elephant and giraffe sides and the logistics of the animals etc etc. I've bought children's jungle wrapping paper for her as a joke!

Thinking about the Primark avocado fake Oodie. Ds has one from Amazon his girlfriend bought him last year and it's great quality. Wonder what the Primark one is like.

Jumpingintosummer · 28/09/2021 12:40

Amazon Barbie care clinic is £35 same as Asda but in stock and free prime delivery.

Thanks for the M & S tip, all ordered for Christmas Eve pickup! One less thing to worry about (if it arrives anyway Grin)

MissCherryCakeyBun · 28/09/2021 13:18

@CamdenLurker I'm the same as you all i can get it to do remove £10 so it then adds shipping and cost me £19. If I add another item I get free shipping but still only save £10 Sad
I must be cursed Grin

DoofusRick · 28/09/2021 13:19

@NightOwl19 Aldi frequently sell fat quarters with characters on them like Disney and Harry Potter, if she’s into either of those, as something to go along with the sewing machine.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 28/09/2021 13:20

Phew all caught up!

Thanks for those posting about the M&S Halloween biscuit tin. Popped out early & managed to get one finally yay. They only had 3.

Have also stocked up on the Ritter Sport winter edition chocolate bars from Lidl. Bought loads of sweet stuff last year and these were by far the best thing we tried. Been waiting all year hoping they'd come back!! 🎉🎉

3 seasonal flavours of Ritter Sport each 100g

Coconut Macaroon
Caramelized Almonds
Spiced Biscuit

99p each

Great stocking filler!!

@NightOwl19 What about Breyer horses for her shelf, they also do some lovely paint your own ones which you can then set with spray and use either as toys or as figures on a shelf. There are also various horse and unicorn based pc games on Steam if she is interested in pc gaming.

sittingonacornflake · 28/09/2021 13:22

For everyone struggling with turtle doves you can contact them (I did via Facebook) and they will send you an invoice to pay with the discount correctly on it.

@Minionbums

Bought a load of stocking fillers today.

Claire’s had 3 for £5 in their sale, anything with a red sticker of £5 or less including Frozen stuff. Got hairbands, clip on earrings, paper-style fans, a blind box each, that sort of thing.

Smiggle had an offer on, 5 items for £5… but because there’s 25% off sale prices it worked out 5 for £3.75. Includes pens, spy pens, erasable pens, rubbers, sharpeners, goo.

Is this all on line or just in store?
Okkaaayyyy · 28/09/2021 13:43

Does anyone know off any cheap bubble tea kits or discounts

Freakingflies · 28/09/2021 13:47

Does anyone remember (a few threads ago, I think) a personalised planner that someone linked to? You could completely design it yourself, from choosing the design of the covers to choosing what the content was.

Sorry, I know that's an awful description but it's driving me mad not being able to remember what it is (and full disclosure, if I find out what it is, it's a present for me, no-one else!)
