@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@TidyOmlette Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield (same game with a couple of different exclusive pokemon at the end of each) are likely to be what she's after.
If she's into the cutesy side of pokemon more than the battles though, there's also Pokemon Snap where you follow set routes and take photos of the pokemon instead of catching them.

Minionbums · 25/09/2021 21:40

Does anyone know what the Evo Dirt Rider scooter that’s in the Tesco toy sale is like? My oldest (7 years old) has never taken to scooting because she feels all the lumps and bumps on a regular scooter.

TidyOmlette · 25/09/2021 22:20

Thanks @Changingagain these games were also recommended by @MeredithGreyishblue 🙂

littlebilliie · 25/09/2021 22:23

You can do multiplayer if you have a Nintendo online account but not via the actual game itself I think.

@aimslou

Does anybody have any ideas for an 11 year old girl?? I can't think of a single thing that she would like! 😩
Nomination bracelet, my dd is 15 and non of her friends have a Pandora bracelet. Pandora rings & earrings are ok. Joma bracelet. Bath bombs Perfume my dd likes just pink from next So body sprays, the ones with the pump spray not aerosol. (they usually start with these and move up to Victoria secret ones as they get older).
happytobemrsg · 25/09/2021 22:28

I mentioned in the last thread that I was looking for a makeup advent calendar for my 11 year old niece, thought I’d show you what I ended up getting. It’s free delivery & 10% off if you sign up. Love the colours.

Oh the price was cut off in my pics. It was £40 but £36 with the code

Avoca76 · 25/09/2021 22:31

Does anyone know of any decent toy spy sets? My son has his heart set on the one from the Smyth’s catalogue but all the reviews are awful.

Borris · 25/09/2021 22:42

@escapeyou

Has anyone bought their kids a slush puppie machine?

Just wondering if they are any good or a waste of money.

Yes. My dd had one last year and it's still used regularly. Everyone who comes for a play date basically gets a slushie made. We got the slush puppie branded one.
Famousthehero · 25/09/2021 22:44
**@MotherOfGodHoulYerWhisht* can I be cheeky and say I’d be very interested in your Olliella code if @Famousthehero* doesn’t want it. My daughter would love one of their holdie trunks but I can’t justify the cost.
Sorry stepped away for the day, feel free to take codes @Chocolateemergency although think I saw you are sorted :-)

We’ve had several, they have all been much of a muchness. They were normally from places like the works, the book people (sadly no longer trading) or randomly the local garden centre
brightwhite · 25/09/2021 22:51

Tesco 25% off clothes ends tomorrow according to a member of staff I was speaking to today, so get there tomorrow anyone needing to!

I'm sure it used to last longer than 4 days?!

HoHoJ0 · 25/09/2021 23:01

@happytobemrsg this website was mentioned on a previous thread for bargain monin syrups. There’s postage to pay but if you’re buying a couple (or stocking up) they work out cheaper. Haven’t ordered from them myself yet though.

oatmilkisntsobad · 25/09/2021 23:10

My giraffe arrived today. I love it! I had bought it for a friend but have decided it's another purchase that I just have to keep...

I finished up making my own last year. I bought a small rucksack and added UV pens and torch, fake moustache and beard set, hats and glasses for disguises, rear view glasses, a small fingerprinting set, a book of codes, walkie talkies and a voice changer. I added a label from the 'Secret Spy Training Agency' saying that she had been spotted as a potential spy and this was her training kit - they'd be watching her progress. It cost less then the set and DD loved it.
Wtfdidwedo · 25/09/2021 23:14

Just catching up and on the subject of football kits I would also recommend AliExpress. Chances are that the fake football kit website mentioned are just buying stuff in bulk from AliExpress anyway. They're normally around £10-15 each on there.

I've also used AliExpress for cheap dressing up clothes. They do more everyday/comfy versions of princess dresses for about £8 each. Just have to be careful on sizing.

We have an 11 year old girl and our recommendations would be totally different to those suggested above. I think it massively depends on their personality - ours has just requested anything Pokémon, a new scooter and a few books!

chickenmashandgravy · 25/09/2021 23:25

Does anyone have a bloom & wild discount code please?

Sorry @Tigger83 and @Chocolateemergency, I was offline for most of the day but presume you’re sorted now?
I don’t know if it’s one use only so will post it for the lurkers tomorrow if neither of you claim it

Tigger83 · 26/09/2021 03:10

@PoirotAndHisMoustache thank you soo much x

PoirotAndHisMoustache · 26/09/2021 04:55

@Chocolateemergency you should have one in your inbox (i had two so it should work)

PoirotAndHisMoustache · 26/09/2021 04:58

For those looking for decent bikes, have you considered using cycle to work scheme for that? It would spread the cost nicely and I don’t think anyone checks if you actually cycle to work. I had two bikes through this so far (one got stollen unfortunately)
