Thanks @riverhouse for the title!

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I have a group of friends I used to do wine and chat nights with before this pandemic nightmare. I’d like to do them a little hamper of wine (Sauvignon blanc or Malbec) with some posh chocs or candy kittens to thank them for bearing with my pregnancy and baby mood swings Blush any bargains would be gratefully appreciated - like everyone else energy bills up by 50% so Xmas budget is squeezed…

Elphaba17 · 23/09/2021 11:45
@Elphaba17 ooh yes the vtech ones look fab but they are pricey.
Yes they are, aren't they! Would be tempted if they went on offer though so will keep an eye on them.

Raindancer411 · 23/09/2021 11:46

I am going to make some non alcoholic gift sets for the TAs and Teacher using these with a glass and chocolates. They are on offer with Shopmium for four for £2 instead of £1.80 each!!

(If you haven't got Shopmium it's great. If you could use my code I would appreciate it as I get some credit and you get some pringles. Hope that's ok to share here!!)

Hey, how about a FREE can of Pringles? Just download the Shopmium app and enter my referral code KHCEKAGP 😊 www.shopmium.com/uk/referral/KHCEKAGP

@TheCrow

Just looked at the PoundToy 3 for 2 deal, it takes all the cheapest items off so I would have been saving 3p as it took all the penny deals off 🤦‍♀️ thought it might have a system like the boots one where they line it up by price and take every third item away. It says it's their 12 days of Christmas deal though so it looks like they'll have lots of different offers between now and then
I got round something similar on this site by placing two orders. One with the more expensive items and one with the cheaper items. Worked out about £20 cheaper than placing one order.
PhantomErik · 23/09/2021 11:53

whatwillicallmyself & Elphaba17 it was the vtech marble run I saw in Home Bargains (sorry there isn't a HB in Ireland Sad ) I think it was about £25, so much cheaper than Argos at £52!

For those looking for something like a scuttlebug but for older children what about a wiggle. Not exactly the same but a ride on type thing aimed at older children

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 23/09/2021 12:23

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 23/09/2021 12:24

Raindancer411 · 23/09/2021 12:42

For Percy Pig fans (and a good way of bulking out present piles) there are Percy bath towels (£10) in the sale at M&S.
There are also all kinds of Percy goodies (pjs, Christmas sweatshirt, cushions, slippers, Bath fizzers, bedding etc) that aren't in the sale, but would be well received by Percy fans! There's even a Percy baking set and wreath!!

That's annoying! Our Hamley's Microscooter arrived today.

mummyof2boys30 · 23/09/2021 12:58

My Ds got a scuttlebug for his second birthday and was most used toy ever. Was passed on to my niece after. Was used inside and out.

We bought my nephew one for his second birthday. His mum flattens it for under pram and then can use when out and about too

QVCismyJam · 23/09/2021 13:01

WisestIsShe · 23/09/2021 13:02

@whatwillicallmyself I bought the eufy 30c on prime day. To begin with I loved it. I still mainly love it. It's fab on hard floors but over time I've noticed the one carpet we have is not as clean at it used to be. When I did it slowly with the Dyson loads of dirt came out. This is a very high traffic house with a dog so maybe I should have got the max. I would buy another but I'd go for the best suction.

Namechangesagain · 23/09/2021 13:03

Thank you! @ButtonMoonLoon

Startaler · 23/09/2021 13:13

Bluetooth sleeping mask Might be good for people who work shifts or sleep next to snorers. Might also be good for hard to buy for teens. On a limited time offer of £15.99 with good reviews. Sleep mask

Purpleheadgirl · 23/09/2021 13:22

That eufy 30c robot vac is on sale on amazon at the moment down to £159.99......but then can also get a free pair of electric eufy scales that it says are worth £45 if any use to anyone?

The4ks · 23/09/2021 13:27

Just saw these in my local home bargains, all the components for a fancy hot chocolate. Thought they were cute.

@whatwillicallmyself

Hi can anyone recommend one of those automatic hoovers are they called robovac ? I know lots of people bought them last year, were they any good ?

Also looking for a recommendation for a marble run, looking for one thats sturdy as my little man can get easily frustrsted so dont want him doing his nut with one that breaks easily Smile

I've got an Eufy, got it in a Black Friday sale. I bought the one which also mops, which was a complete waste of money for me - just too faffy and not cleaning well enough. But I absolutely love switching on the eufy when I go out in the morning and coming home to hoovered downstairs. One of the best purchases I've ever made, saves me so much time.
Cosmia · 23/09/2021 14:03

@Purpleheadgirl Could you please share the link for the Eufy 30 with the free scales? Am just about to buy one (gave my original one to my Mum and can't live without it!) but always good to get a freebie too.

Carrie76 · 23/09/2021 14:23

@Minionbums can you ask a few friends if they’re interested in Oodies and get a bundle? I’ve just done this and we have 6 on their way to us, works out at €44 each (I’m in Ireland)
