Lots of good deals in The Works today. Picked up a Lego Star Wars Ideas book for £3.50, it’s on Amazon for £13. Can’t see it on the website but there were plenty in store.

The Works by me had box sets of Land Of Stories that I can't see online, and Mr Gum and were doing a 10% off shopping in store if you are in to "click and collect" something.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a weighted eye mask?

I picked one up from TK MAXX last week, it was sold as a Migraine eye mask, and that's what I wanted it for.

I haven't used it yet, they had a few different designs but mostly floral I think.

I also picked up a matching neck & back lavender pillow type thing.

I ordered 3 Mr Tubs Pork crackling and beer gift sets but they’ve arrived and the best before date is the 15/12/21 which is a bit disappointing despite the great price. This might be a daft question but how do you complain to the company? Do you go to ‘returns’ or contact Amazon?

@Gooseysgirl thanks for the mezze legend spicery tip. One ordered for my hard to buy for dad and his wife. We have the curry legend and taco legend kits and use them loads so have also ordered a mezze kit for DH too.

@torthecatlady barefoot creations have some lavender eye pillows that are quite weighty & they are in the sale. I ordered one for me & one for my mum. My mum has recently been poorly and she says it’s really helped her relax. I’ve lost mine to my 10 yo so I need to order another!

@Tigger83 We have a Melitta Barista Smart which has two bean hoppers, so you can have decaf in one, and can select which hopper you use for your coffee ( and there is a nifty app which lets set your own settings for strength or coffee, water, milk)

My silver mushroom items came today, but disappointed as out if 5 storage tins for the kitchen, one is dented, one is chopped and one lid has a mark I can't remove. Has anybody else experienced poor quality as I like a few more items but now wondering if they sell seconds?

@Teddansononmyown I don't know if there's a particular style but Barbour have a factory store in South Shields where they have some brilliant discounts - they might be able to do a virtual call or phone call to show styles they have in? I know that Bicester Village are doing similar in some of the bigger brands like YSL.

Bit of a random one bit I really fancied some chocolate when I was in tescos earlier and they has loads of individual chocolates bars at 3 for £1.20. I grabbed my favourite, Ferrero rocher as the three packs were included in the offer. That meant for a grand total of £1.20 I got 9 individual chocolates. I decided to grant another 3 meaning I got 18 chocs for £2.40. This is more than a standard 16 pack for about half the price. I will be putting them in a posh dish at Christmas and eating my own body weight in them!

Sorry can't do link as it's from Wowcher but Harry Potter themed stationery advent calendar for £9.99 plus £3.99 p&p. No idea what it's like though as it doesn't show contents!
