Thanks @riverhouse for the title!

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@NoWordForFluffy DH works for Sainsbury's and he's been told this today as pp said

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2021 16:39

@Wafflehouse, do you work at Sainsbury's or Nectar? Is Sainsbury's still doing the toy sale, if it's the former?

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2021 16:40

I don't trust any rumour without an official announcement (no offence to you, but I like evidence - I'm a lawyer, it's in my genes)!

Wafflehouse · 21/09/2021 16:43

NoWordFoFluffy Sainsburys, at the moment it looks like the toy sale is still planned for the same week as usual but lots of things this year have been dropped at the last minute so it could change.

Wafflehouse · 21/09/2021 16:43

I have evidence, I just can’t share it. Wink

DoucheCanoe · 21/09/2021 16:44

I agree @chestermands, my Gran always says that it's only a bargain if you needed it in the first place and I try to go by that.

This year I've bought more things full price because I'm worried about set things going out of stock and end up buying stuff on offer just because it's available. Any offers have been a bonus!

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2021 16:44

Arggghhh! Luckily I still have almost £300 in Nectar points. I will have to spend wisely!

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2021 16:45

@Wafflehouse

I have evidence, I just can’t share it. Wink
That isn't evidence - for my purposes - then! 🤣
IggyAce · 21/09/2021 16:50

Just a heads up for Tesco picked a leaflet up in store today and they are doing half price club card price on selected toys from 29th September.

CamdenLurker · 21/09/2021 16:57

Loads of Colin hot chocolate stirrers in M&S Westfield London today, lots hanging near the teabags.

I picked up the Very Merry Munch tin - it's £8, but they had sold out of Percy hot chocolate bombs, the price tag was on the shelf as £2.50.

Tesco have 25% off all clothing this weekend if you scan your clubcard.

MrsPerfect12 · 21/09/2021 17:07

Spotted this in Tesco

@Wafflehouse Thank you for the Sainsbury’s update and thank you to @WisestIsShe for confirming Smile

Daisy829 · 21/09/2021 17:09

I really want the Merry munch tin from M&S. That’s my mission for this week. Looks yummy.

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2021 17:12

Apparently Skint Dad had already guessed about Double Up.

How annoying! I may have to shop elsewhere in the future if they keep pulling stunts like this. Sigh.

Ricekrispie22 · 21/09/2021 17:17

Not sure if it’s already been mentioned, but no harm in repeating for those who have just joined:
Paperchase has (up to) 50% off!

Kittyswhiskers · 21/09/2021 17:17

How annoying. Wish Sainsburys would do their 25% off clothing then.

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 21/09/2021 17:27

This Harry Potter lego annual is £5 now, seems good with a mini figure

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 21/09/2021 17:29

annual

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2021 17:30

@Kittyswhiskers

Yes. I was going to - partly - get bras and school uniform with my points. 25% off will help ease the pain!
ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 21/09/2021 17:32

Really annoyed about the sainsburys thing too. I had hardly any points last year so made an effort to collect for this Christmas Angry

Ricekrispie22 · 21/09/2021 17:41

Personalised letter from Santa for £2.99 at Home Bargains

Kittyswhiskers · 21/09/2021 17:58

Me too - wanted to get some Christmas jumpers, pyjamas and a few essentials. I’d be more inclined to spend more, bizarrely, If they were 25% off!!

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2021 18:02

@ItsAllBlahBlahBlah, don't forget you can spend the points at Argos and eBay. I'm just going to keep an eye out for good deals on those sites now and spend points as and when I spot stuff.

I'm annoyed as I've missed stuff I might have bought, had a realised earlier. Xmas Sad Xmas Angry

TheHallouminati · 21/09/2021 18:03

@cymrumam oh no, I hadn't noticed the short date on the Beanies thick shakes! I am making a special advent calendar for the children this year, where we sit down and do something christmassy or have a christmassy treat each day of advent. Guess I'll have to use them then.
