Not been able to catch on today's posts so this may have already been mentioned. Boots have a deal on where you get a free gift worth £100 when you spend £50 on selected items. I needed more Double Wear foundation anyway which also had around £4 off and I got myself a Mac eyeshadow pen which had a couple of £s off to top it up to £50. Free delivery. I'm excited to see what's included with my free gift!

My daughter has put a supreme new york sweatshirt on her xmas list at £150 plus shipping I want it gold plated ! - anyone got any magic ideas of how to get it cheaper. I am going to have a panic attack every time I need to wash it.

I bought some stocking filler fidget toys from here - they haven’t got a massive selection but they are UK based and it’s free delivery on everything at the moment. Very happy with my order.

@whydoesitalways unfortunately with the covid testing requirements (even after of Oct will still need a lateral flow at approx £30 per person) it's not such a bargain these days.
Also, bear in mind we can no longer return with a carload of wine, the allowances aren't huge any more, especially for sparkling/fortified wine (I think 6 litres) and spirits. Even normal wine is either 16 litres of 16 bottles, we almost got caught out on our way home this summer because we'd bought a few 5L bag-in-a-boxes for a party.

@WhyDoesItAlways bear in mind that post-Brexit what you can bring back wine-wise is not very much at all now. We used to do 1 or 2 big trips a year and bought all our wine in France. Makes me so sad we can't do that any more!

gone are the days they used to wave you through customs when you faithfully promised it was for personal consumption then. Sad Brexit times.

@dementedma I also ordered the Spicery kits from a few threads ago, if you mean the pre-order mezze ones? If I remember correctly, the delivery date was around the end of October.
