Christmas Food Delivery Slots?

Does anyone know when we the food delivery slots for Christmas will be released please? I’m thinking Sainsbury’s, M&S and Asda? Thanks!

Ooo I came on to start a thread like this ! Does anyone know what’s going on with M&S Christmas food now as it’s all gone over to Ocado but they just don’t have the same range anymore . Wondering if they’ll even do Christmas entertaining food at all 😭

Yes, most of them now do the food to order the first week of Oct.

For deliveries, Waitrose is usually first. I have a Sainsbury's delivery pass which usually gives me access 4 weeks in advance.

Trying to get M @ S food from Ocado last Christmas was impossible! I will have to order direct for collection from M @ S. Ocado seemed to have sold out of everything M @S

I placed my Ocado order for Christmas last night at midnight, for delivery on the 23rd December. I have a smart pass, have had one almost 10 years, so think they've given me early access. Only item I can't seem to order is the M&S medium sized Christmas pudding so I'll have to pop into a store for that which isn't a problem as I'm only a 10 minute walk from one.

M and a slots opened yesterday. None available already in my area.

From what I read in a newspaper article posted on the 27th

Tesco super saver delivery customers: November 16th 6am.
Non super saver delivery customers 23rd.

Waitrose: Early November, around the same time as last year.

M&S: Food to order service opened yesterday (28th)

Morrisons: No date confirmed yet.

Ocado: No date confirmed yet.

Asda: No date confirmed but based on last year it will be around mid November.

Sainsbury's: No date confirmed yet.

I got an email yesterday that Ocado was open for early orders for smart pass members today. Went on at midnight and it says nothing available. Checked again this morning and nothing available. So they’ve either not got things arranged for my area or have sold out entirely in minutes. Agree that last year it was a bit random what I could get. It’s not dreadful if I have to go out shopping but gets complex when the kids are off school too.

Just booked Ocado here for the 21st, and I had plenty of choices for slots (smart pass membership). It may well depend on location.

You can order Booths Christmas food now, collect from the 21st.

(I am going to repeat my strategy of last year which was turkey from the butcher, early morning trip to Lidl followed by early morning trip to Booths, and not bother with ordering; the only reason we did this last year was because we weren't sure where we were spending Christmas till Boris told us and we just cancelled all our orders, but it worked very well).

Had a notification for Waitrose today. Booked my slot on the 22nd

Waitrose open for priority customers.

Ocado now working, so slot booked ok. Almost feeling festive, starting to plan all the food!

M&S wouldn't allow me to find a local slot at first yesterday on my phone or PC then later I tried with another browser and it worked. Have just tried on my phone and it won't work. May be a glitch on the website?

Just bagged a waitrose lot for the 22nd. Not been offered an ocado one yet and I 'm less fussed about that because I live walking distance from a decent M&S food Hall but our nearest waitrose is tiny and miles away.
