I haven't seen one this year but def one last year

Not Christmas, but on a mission to find one of these glass pumpkins for my friends birthday in Home Bargains. Anyone seen any in the SE? I know eBay are flogging expensive ones but on principle I don’t want to do that.

I'm in the SE @NaturalBlondeYeahRight I can look for you this week. Do you want to know where they are or I can pick up and post if I see one?

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight I am on the lookout for one of these too but in the NE. Home Bargains posted them earlier on Facebook saying they would be sending stock to more XL stores. Our small store hasn't had any yet, they just have sweets and costumes so far. A staff member told me to ring the store after 7 when they're putting the delivery out and if they have them they'll put one aside to collect the next day so hope this helps!

@ItsAllBlahBlahBlah thank you, I don’t mind if you just give me a shout if you see one or grab one for me (obviously all costs covered) Like @Thecrow says, they are tricky to find and Home Bargains are ridiculously cagey about where they are sending them. Don’t know why the would want eBayers to profit two years in a row. Bit like the B and M Christmas sacks/stockings.

@raindancer411 it was me that posted about the Pound Puppies. My phone won't let me link (or maybe I'm being thick!) but if you search Amazon they'll come up. It was the Newborn ones that were just over 6£ - when I search now they're the 3rd in the list that come up.

A warning on SnackSurprise - their customer service is shocking. My boxes have arrived 3/4 weeks after they were supposedly posted. They take a week to respond to emails chasing boxes and when they do respond my boxes have arrived.
Their products are FAB, we’ve loved the two boxes we’ve had, but the customer service and horrific communication really lets them down. I’m on my third and final box, supposedly dispatched on the 28th, I’m still waiting…tend to get it the following month around the 20th

At the end of the last thread, someone was asking for ideas for an elderly member of the family.

I was chatting to some elderly neighbours recently and they were all complaining about Their socks. (The things we make small talk about )They are All desperate for seamless socks, thin ones to wear with shoes, and chunky ones to wear inside with/instead of slippers.

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight Home Bargains in Milton Keynes had those last year. Unfortunately DS2 dropped ours and smashed it the second he got out of the car at home and we don't live near there any more. I'll let you know if I spot it elsewhere though!

Having not used my Sparks card in ages I used it on Friday (light up tins) and today (hot chocolate stirrers without the kids watching) and now I've had an email saying I can have a free bag of Percy Pigs or Colin the Caterpillars. Will have to go again now!!

Oh I'm so pleased that you love this! Once you've applied etc, you then get the opportunity to add your loved ones photo and tribute on a special memorial page. It's such a lovely thing to do!

@woodwaj I daren't! I'm hoping this thing will fit her. Bless her she's a couple of years too late and early at the same time! Minions stuff was everywhere until now. I was impressed my husband found it but I'll have to see if I need to tack it up or wait til Christmas hoping for growth spurt (before tacking too ) 🤣

I bought a lot of the more age appropriate stuff in Aldi so we're doing a minions hamper/mountain of sorts.

Oh I've also had the most horrendous customer service from snack suprise! Would not go near them again regardless of the quality of the products. It's a shame, and I hope they were just overwhelmed but it was very poor.
