It sounds like it’s too complicated for younger ones, and too childish for older ones but I didn’t spend too long looking into it. Also seems expensive at full price for a pack of cards!

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but I bought loads of bits from Made for Drink last week. Really yummy premium bar snacks that each pair with certain drinks. For those asking about Exploding Kittens, it's a firm favourite in this house. DS has been playing it since he was about 10. The rules are quite simple but there's enough strategy in there to be interesting. And the artwork on the cards is funny. I bought it for friends a couple of years ago and they were playing it after the kids had gone to bed as a drinking game! £5 is a bargain, IMHO

I've just had a thought though ... I'm now requesting all my Amazon purchases are delivered in one go on a Monday , does that mean I might not get some purchases if they sell out in the meantime eg. Exploding Kittens which I bought when it was available earlier at £5

I went into M&S today and managed to get the Percy pig Tim, they didn’t have any advent calendars or haunted house cookie tins .

I’m after the Lego technics Ford Raptor but seems to be £120 everywhere, I’m unsure if it’s worth waiting to see if the price drops or if I should buy it at full price as it’s a new set. DD has asked for it for Christmas.

I've been to 2 different M&S in two days and both had a fair bit of Halloween stuff but bare shelves where the biscuit tin is supposed to be 😒

Oh well got 2 other stores to try & it's a while til Halloween anyway (sob)

You should still get them as they’re usually very good with stock control (although possibly not if it’s due to a glitch which they discover and don’t honour). However, I’ve given up with getting them to delivery on a day I’ve chosen; every time I’ve selected a day they’ve delivered on an earlier day!

No, I agree.
It's not just the fact that they may not drink alcohol, meaning the gift is pretty useless, they could be recovering alcoholics, in which case it could be bordering on offensive.
