To be honest if Oodie done a kids version i would probably get them it but they dont have any on their website.

So im looking for ones specifically for kids, really really thick and snuggly, theres LOADS on amazon but im unsure of the quality so if someone could recommend one for kids that would be amazing.

We can see this thread is a little old, but if you’ve landed here looking for current Oodie alternatives for kids, including more budget-friendly options, we’ve recently updated our best kids' blanket hoodie page with lots of great options, as rated and loved by Mumsnet users. We hope it helps Flowers

I got my 8 & 6 year old a one size fits all oodie (from the oodie website) for Christmas last year. They wear them all the time. I must admit the 6 year olds nearly reaches the floor, but she loves it.

I got my kids (teens but they do a child's version) the Sienna hoodie blanket from EBay. It's an excellent and much cheaper alternative to the Oodie!

Oh really!!!!

My kids are 1.3m and 1.2m, and also the arm length is that not an issue.

I assumed they would be FAR too big.
OOdie used to do a childs version or they still do but not in the UK for some reason,

Just measured youngest (she is 7 now but 6 when I purchased oodie) and she is 1.2m. The sleeves are elasticated so they tend to stay above the hands. It does almost touch the floor, but they usually wear them while sat on the couch or in the mornings. It's definitely something you tend to wear while relaxing rather than doing anything that involves moving 😂

(I speak from my own experience as well, I love mine, but only wear it when I'm watching TV or reading)

Yes i got my mum to buy me one for xmas lol.

Ahhhhh im conflicted, i wonder whether i should just get them the adult version. I asked about the kids and they said keep your eyes peeled but im too anxious to wait as i like to be organised lol

The Comfy Junior is excellent. Bought one for my small 9 year old last year as my older daughter asked for one not thinking it would be a huge hit. He’s worn it virtually every day, use it after swimming too, very warm and cosy.

I saw primark are bringing similar ones out this year I don't know if they'll have kids ones but they'll be missing a trick if they don't.

AlvinSimonTheo · 07/09/2021 12:04

Ooh that'll be worth watching for a primark version!

I ordered mine in October last year when they had an offer on, due to brexit and covid, they ended up delayed and didn't arrive until January. They did refund me some of the money. But definitely worth ordering sooner than later if you go with an oodie.

If you have one maybe get the kids to try it on and see what you think?
