Last year I put up a thread about Christmas stars, my Church has a Christmas tree where you hang stars on with the names of a loved one who is no longer here, so this thread is too fold, firstly anyone who would like me to put a star on the tree on their behalf please let me know, and second the thread itself becomes a memorial to our missing love ones.

I will start. This Christmas I will be thinking of

My dad
My nan
My best friend
My father in law
Dicky
Roger
and Jackie.

No longer in our sights but always in our hearts..

My mum.

She died in 2004. The local hospice always has a celebration like this at Christmas. I live 200 miles away which is my excuse for not going. In actual fact, I couldn't bear to go as it would just finish me off.
