Last year I put up a thread about Christmas stars, my Church has a Christmas tree where you hang stars on with the names of a loved one who is no longer here, so this thread is too fold, firstly anyone who would like me to put a star on the tree on their behalf please let me know, and second the thread itself becomes a memorial to our missing love ones.

I will start. This Christmas I will be thinking of

My dad
My nan
My best friend
My father in law
Dicky
Roger
and Jackie.

No longer in our sights but always in our hearts..

FIL - Fred - died 1994 - never got to meet DS but would have gotten such a kick out of him.

My nana - died 1998 - we all still miss her.

My 2 grandads and my granny.

An old friend, Stephen. Still think of you whenever I hear The Communards.

My little sister who died the day she was born in 1968 - I was 4.

Coolchristmasfairy · 13/12/2007 07:09

My dad -
My mom who I still miss so much, it hurts.
DH's mom, who sounded like a lovely lady and who I never got to meet.

moonmother · 13/12/2007 07:46

My Nan -we lost her 10 years ago.

Myself and my brother were her life after she lost my Grandad, and she spoilt us rotten.

She would have been the same with my 2 Dc and it saddens me to think she's never known them.

snowfunwhenyoureknackered · 13/12/2007 07:46

My dad

moonmother · 13/12/2007 07:48

My Grandad ,who died when I was 3,I was the apple of his eye

My Db never got to meet him.

Luckily I'm still blessed with 1 set of Grandparents

But our lives are much better for knowing and loving the people we've lost.

PersephoneSnowballSnape · 13/12/2007 08:01
