Could anyone recommend any nice coffee beans gifts? Or maybe a subscription for coffee beans? Thanks

Dash cam
Bat detector
Painting or map of the town where he grew up
Old map of where you live now
I’ve bought DH a falconry day and the chance to play the organ in Gloucester Cathedral

Do you have a wood burner? Does he chop the wood and kindling for it? What about one of these Kindling Crackers? We have one and my DH raves about it:

iclip credit card holder was very popular and is still used everyday
Card tricks book
Personalised luggage tags - also used on work bags
Foot peeling socks - sadly they really work!
Kheils Facial Fuel
Silver collar stiffeners
Tiny umbrella

I'll second vouchers for favorite bar/coffee shop idea. Might also be a set of self-care prodects. If the person has everything then get them something that would be useful. You can make him a Christmas video card as an addition to that or get a delivery from the place he likes. I think he'll appreciate that.

We had a £50 limit as we had four kids. I broke it though: once a nice watch and another time a hot air balloon ride.

@mrspiersmorgan

If he likes reading the Booker Prize book from the year he was born.
I got really excited by this suggestion - then found that the Booker was established in 1969, Long after DH was born. But am going to get the Pulitzer Prize winner from his birth year - cracking idea and one I will consider for readers' significant birthdays! Thank you x
Tulipvase · 30/10/2021 20:21

I too went to find the Booker winner for my intended recipient and discovered he was too old. I shall now be looking for the Pulitzer winner! Thanks both.

DH loves electronics and such. He loves walking and goes every day. He is very interested in news and politics.

Gifts that have worked:

Rechargeable hand warmers
A "weather station" that has a sensor outside and a unit on the wall inside that displays temperature in and out etc.
A flannel shirt to put on when it gets chilly.
Rechargeable flashlights (torches) the he can use to light a project like working behind a desk on computers etc. He has one that has quite a bright bank of lights.
A watch that sets itself from a satellite. He loves it.
Warm scarf and gloves.

Birkenstock has some styles that are basically warm indoor slippers with support for cooking in the kitchen etc. i am pondering those for Christmas as he wears a tatty old pair of Arizona sandals around the house.

Wireless waterproof endoscopic inspection camera: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01NBFTAHE/?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

DH has just got one and inspected all the drains, behind the radiators - I've never seen him so excited. He's just debating where to use it next.

Lemonlemon88 · 13/11/2021 10:07

If he drinks beer, an steel insulated beer cooler went down well.

Zebracat · 13/11/2021 14:28

Endoscopic inspection camera is wonderful. I bought my da a trail/ wildlife camera and he loves it. But we do have badgers and foxes in the garden.. no idea what’s behind the radiator tho.

JetBlackSteed · 13/11/2021 18:23

I've bought mine a Meater. It's a meat thermometer with an app, so the phone tells you when meat is done

TheChosenTwo · 13/11/2021 18:45

Dh said to me the other night that if anyone was wondering what he would like for Christmas then he wanted some cigars Confused
He smokes rollies occasionally (when pissed), I guess I’ll look but I don’t really know what I’m looking for, neither does he Grin

If you can find an old fashioned tobacconists they are usually very helpful.
