I will put ours up on the 3rd whilst DS is at school. (got stuff to do at the weekend or else it would have been the 1st!)

mind you i've seen loads of decs up already this year don't get me wrong I love christmas i really do but think that decorations should definately not go up until December, DS2's birthday is on 13th so we don't put them up until he has had his birthday

no - far too early !!

Putting mine upp on the 1st of dec,much to dh's disgust. Only have a tree which is in the conservatory so don't see much of it anyway. Then i can take them all down the day after boxing day without feeling to bah humbug.

DHs birthday is the 18th, so I decorate the house sometime between then and Christmas Eve.

We'll be putting ours up the first weekend in December which, imo, is too early but between DS & DH (who is like a little kid) I get railroaded into it

Ours our part way up, having a party on Saturday to switch the lights on - can't WAIT!!!

Sheesh no!! we've always had a tradition of putting them up 12 days before xmas and taking them down 12 days afterwards. Besides it's hard enough watching the cats with the trees for that long never mind if we put them up now!

Think we'll do them on the 8th. Going away on the 19th but DS is not letting me away with it!

(And I bought some gorgeous decorations today!)

Have noticed that lots of the houses around us here in Budapest have their outside lights up now but not in use. They don't put their trees up till Xmas Eve.

Ours will go up either the 8th or the 15th.
