When will you put your tree up?

Just got my decs out and am tempted to whack the whole shabang up tonight lmao.
When will everybody else be putting their's up?

either 1st December or 1st week

I also have to allow a break as DH has birthday at the end of Nov and we have to make that a stand alone thing or he gets really grumpy

Actually, the reason i am so excited about christmas this year is because the last two have been extremely stressful for me and this is hte first time in two years i've been really looking forward to it. Last year we had nothing, no tree, yes, get the violins out.
This year it will just be me, dh and the kids, I can't wait.

We have 2 days off in December (6th & 7th) so ours will go up then. However it DH had his way all the decs would already be up - he´s worse than DS whose 5

We will do ours on the weekend of 15/16 as that is the first weekend when DP and I will have all our children here to do it

I LOVE CHRISTMAS

Well we always put them up on Dec 1st but db no.3 is due on the 28th of this month so it will all depend on his arrival
If he's not here they'll be going up!

2 weeks before christmas day, have to put ironing board infront of it when i go out as boxer dog thinks its a big stick but is shit scared of ironing board so leaves it alone

Going to SA on 26th of Nov. Will put Christmas tree up on 30th of Nov as we are having christmas at PIL. Then go to my parents and want to put their tree up aswell. even though they will be joining us 4 days before christmas for christmas at PIL.

Next Friday, November 23rd, the day after Thanksgiving which is when all the neighbours do it over here in US. That's after I get back from the Mall which opens at 5am on Friday after Thanksgiving, they hand out hot chocolate and marshmallows.

There are massive light dislays in gardens, trees lit up, inflatables, santa sleighs mounted on the roof etc.

Hubby has gone out and bought new twinkling multi-coloured lights because my small white tasteful British-style light display is 'boring.'

But I can't wait. Already have my Christmas towels up in bathroom.

December the 20th at the very earliest.
