IMPOSSIBLE to buy for??

Does not like: (how did I marry this man????)

  • sports
  • anything related to health and wellness
  • smellies etc (although he does smell nice)
  • tech of all kinds
  • gaming
  • clothes (yes, he wears these but clothes have never been gift items for us)
  • alcohol
  • cooking
  • reading
  • pop culture (telly, movie stuff etc)
  • tinkering with mechanics
  • doesnt really listen to music except in the car, on his phone

"likes":

  • always replies with some stupid big ticket item like a quad when I ask what he wants
  • tinkering with fences , building sheds etc (he is a farmer type but doesnt like new stuff, he likes to find old stuff and use and recycle for this purpose)
  • peanut brittle (this is something?)

He has everything he needs re boots, wellies etc.

If anyone has any ideas or has bought their "impossible to buy for" DH anything - absolutely would be grateful for help.

I think I need a new husband?

How about a hamper of his favourite foods?

Wood whittling kit
Bear trapper hat
Fingerless gloves
Down packable gilet (Uniqlo, H&M)
Leatherman multi tool
Stocking fillers could be paracord kit, fire starter
A decent flask
Kindling cracker

A pile of bricks (and whatever else you need) to be delivered to build a pizza oven?

I too have bought a chainsaw as a Christmas present in the past. He was delighted.

treeeeemendous · 19/12/2020 13:58

Trying to think of what else I have bought

Chain link trousers to go with said chainsaw
An axe for splitting logs
An archery set
A new wheelbarrow

Sorry haven't read the other replies as I'm cooking a roast, but I am a tinkering outdoorsy type.

Wish someone would buy me: decent tool belt, nice & warm waterproof work gloves that I can actually move my hands in (have never found these!), crafty workbench type thing, decent boots (love Lowa Renegades, mine are finally dying), any power tools.

Typing it out I realise how expensive these things are and that's probably why I've never been gifted them.. I have always assumed it's because I don't have a willy! Blush
