Anyone else trouble with Boots on line? & what can I do about it?!

placed an order 27/11. had a confirmation email......& nothing since. they havent replied to my email, & when I try to ring customer service I just get cut off!

Given up, can't get through. So can't even get a refund. I'm really cross. I've tweeted them now but looking at the woeful replies to the hundreds of tweets I'm not expecting this to be resolved.

Though I did pay by PayPal actually so might try claiming it back through them.

I had the most success in the evening around 6.30pm getting through on the weekdays. Never managed to get through on a Saturday. Also first thing on a Monday (8.58) worked for me.

It’s 8.30 - 7 Monday to Friday

and 8.45 - 5 on weekends.

I lost hours of time on hold to Boots last week so it’s committed to memory now lol!

Never received an email stating it was delevered to my branch. I went in and it was there!

I’ve given up doing online orders with Boots either delays or not receiving the item atall just recently I ordered an electric toothbrush to click and collect it got lost in transit , I phoned customer service and was refunded

My parcel has moved to a depot 40 miles away so feeling more confident now that it will come.

The entire order that I was refunded for and that I should have received at the end of November has just turned up Confused

Now I’ll need to go through hours of trying to reach customer services again to find out what to do with the items. I’m Shielding so can’t sort it out in store.

I ordered on 5th December and my parcel was apparently despatched the same day. Royal Mail track and trace not working! Arghhhhhh!

My DH ordered various Xmas presents from boots (perfumes and make up). Small items but pricey. He was watching the tracking and it would stay for days in one place before moving to another

Finally arrived - smashed empty box inside a Royal Mail plastic bag

Waited hours in customer services line to be told he’d get a firm via email to fill in for a refund. That was 5 business days ago

I’ve told him to contact our bank to get a refund. He doesn’t have the hours to wait on hold any more in the run up the Xmas

I feel sorry for them Boots and John Lewis both had huge problems because of Royal Mail.

Not Boots but Origins, ordered on 28th Nov, 2nd Dec it arrived with Royal Mail and 11th Dec its at a distribution centre in the South - im in the North West so doubt if ill ever see it.

Boots are refunding me for the order made on 5th December as they have agreed that it is probably lost.

I had a text on 4th December saying my parcel (ordered on the 2nd) was due for delivery on the 5th. It's been sitting in a sorting facility in Northampton ever since. The tracking has changed this morning to say that it's due for delivery today but I'm not holding my breath!

So strange...I've done a few orders throughout Covid and they've all been fine. Had one delivered on Monday that I placed on Saturday. They aren't all turned around that fast though.

Well my parcel was due to be delivered between 10-2pm today, its no where to be seen...I ordered on 2nd December.

It’s not just Boots -
DH ordered something for me from Estée Lauder. According to RM tracking it was collected, then sat in a distribution centre for about 6 days before eventually being delivered to us a couple of days later.

No problems with my Boots order.

I ordered some perfume on Monday and it arrived yesterday. Free delivery because it was over £45.

Can anyone help?? X2 orders from Boots arrived no issues. Another order arrived today- not ordered by me and not in my account. Cannot access chat via my phone for some reason, cannot fill in the email as my request doesn’t fit the form. 30 minute wait on phone. The order is not something I would use- I could take to store next week or give to food bank?? Someone is missing a huge amount of men’s toiletries!

My Boots parcel ordered on 5th December and despatched on 6th has just arrived and been updated for the first time in 9 days on the Royal Mail website.

2 days after Boots agreed that the parcel was lost and refunded me....
