Anyone else trouble with Boots on line? & what can I do about it?!

placed an order 27/11. had a confirmation email......& nothing since. they havent replied to my email, & when I try to ring customer service I just get cut off!

Yes I've not had any other problems with RM either, just with this Boots order so I can't help but think it's more to do with Boots and how they interact with RM perhaps? Hopefully we will all get our parcels before Christmas anyway...

I just got through to boots, they said it's massive back log with royal mail.

Mine should have been delivered on Sat. They've said they won't do anything until its 72 working hrs late so I'm to ring back tomorrow. And then they'll refund and reorder. 🤷‍♀️

Not boots, but awaiting parcels from three different companies who have all used Royal Mail. Each one still says awaiting dispatch but the companies say RM has them already. I don't think their tracking is working at all!

I put an order in 2/12. No confirmation email, doesn't appear on my account as an order, nothing. But I've been charged via PayPal.

Tried to call and just got an automated message saying 'there has been a problem and we can't connect you'. So I've raised a PayPal dispute.

The annoying thing is I just want the bloody order. The items were half price when I ordered and are now full price so I'd rather they just sent it!

I’ve just this minute had an email from Royal Mail saying they’ve received my parcel and that it’ll be delivered on Friday.

So it appears to have taken 11 days from leaving the Boots warehouse to appearing on the Royal Mail system. Not sure if it’s a boots issue or a RM issue but I’m happy that it seems to be coming.

Not with boots but ordered 2 coats from the hut. Showed for over a week that was dispatched but royal mail hadnt received. Finally got updated today with delivery on Friday

Don't hold your breath - I had same email from Royal Mail confirming delivery of parcels on Monday. No parcels arrived. Still waiting. Tracking says it's in Northampton-but who knows! I live in Scotland

Just had an email for one of the items saying they have my item and it will be delivered tomorrow. I won't hold my breath!
It was RM 48 tracked - supposedly dispatched last Friday, so 48 hours have turned in to 168 😂
I'm sure it's a Royal Mail issue as for three different companies in my case to have the same issue is very odd.

I've just had this email from Boots - have any of you?

^I am extremely sorry that your boots.com order has been delayed. I know that this is very stressful at this time of year, and I wanted to let you know what has happened and to reassure you that it should be with you soon.

Most of our boots.com orders are sent through Royal Mail and this is normally a very reliable service. Yesterday we were told that a number of parcels at the Royal Mail depot were processed very late. This had a few consequences: your parcel was delayed, you didn’t get a tracking number and when you tried to track via Royal Mail you were told that the item had not been received at the warehouse.

We are working very closely with Royal Mail and they are working around the clock to resolve this issue and have your parcel with you as soon as possible. We expect that this will be by this weekend, or Monday at the latest. By the end of today you should have received a tracking number from Royal Mail that will let you see where it is and when it will be with you.

Many of you have called or emailed us to ask where your parcel is and this has sometimes led to a longer wait to speak to one of our team. This is, I know, also extremely frustrating. Please be reassured that our team are working through your messages as quickly as possible.

Thank you very much for your loyalty and patience; we will do our best to work with Royal Mail, to help them to resolve the backlog quickly and, above all, to keep you updated. More information is available on boots.com.

To be fair, if it was the 21st Dec today I'd be more stressed about it but I'm going to cut Boots and RM some slack given it's only the 10th and there was nothing super urgent in my order.

@Sparticle I have just had a reply from currys to say that they are marking the order "lost in transit" due to Royal Mail saying they don't have it and so are sending another item out for me!

I've had the boots email too. Interesting to see if it turns up as they have already refunded me! I'll obviously try and sort out if it does - but I needed mine to send as a gift abroad so didn't have time to wait. All other deliveries that we've made seem to be being delivered without issue.

Well my parcel isn't coming today as per the royal mail email as their tracking says its still the other end of the country

My Boots order was being sent to Royal Mail on Monday. According to tracking it still hasn't reached them. No chance it'll be here as scheduled tomorrow then.

I've had a text from Royal Mail this morning saying that they will deliver today. When I click on the tracking link it does say that my parcel is at the local sorting office so I am cautiously optimistic...

They've delivered one item out of my 6 item order today Confused I don't believe it's anything to do with Royal Mail tbh...I've had plenty of other stuff delivered on time by Royal Mail with no issues at all!

Prior to COVID, I have received 3 separate Boots parcels with errors; either a missing item, incomplete item and an extra item in order (completely unrelated to remainder of the order). Most recently I received medication with mould on it. Boots told me to just return for a replacement but I was extremely disappointed that they were not even considering taking it up with the manufacturer.

Whilst I have not had an issue with he delivery itself, I get the idea my experience is the tip of the iceberg.

I had trouble with an order from November of over £100 not arriving by this week. It took 3 phone calls to sort out and on some days I had problems getting through - I got “this number is out of service” or “this line is currently busy”. I got no response by email.

The resolution in the end was that I was refunded as my items were out of stock and given over £30 points in addition. I then went into store and bought the same items
despite the fact I should have been Shielding. However I’ve now had a text from Royal Mail saying my Boots package is on the way. Nearly a month after I ordered it.
