What have you asked for, or what are you hoping to get this christmas?

I really want a Neom candle and a pair of fluffy slippers!

I want a pair of Ash Virgin high tops ( they might have found their way into my basket as they were half price on BrandAlley) that DH can buy me.
My mum is paying for perfume I wanted ( half price from some Dutch website)
I have also asked for a book from DS.
I need a new purse and one of the lovely boutiques in town has very different ones. I’ve asked DH to chose me one.

I don’t want surprises. I want what I want.

Titsywoo · 28/11/2020 01:06

Just a new dressing gown. I don't tend to ask for gifts as i never really want much and if i do i buy it so I tell most people to not bother getting me anything. My parents always give me some money. Since I got a few presents for dh i asked for a dressing gown so he doesn't feel bad getting me nothing Grin

Some South Park and The Simpsons memorabilia for my bedroom. Xmas Smile

JamieLeeCurtains · 28/11/2020 01:25

I do NOT want a lovely scarf.

kowari · 28/11/2020 08:01

Every year I ask for nothing. I never get it.

wafflyversatile · 28/11/2020 08:03

Binoculars for birdwatching in the garden now I'm wfh.

Lazysundayafternoons · 28/11/2020 08:44

I wanted a robovac. (I know it sounds boring but I am so excited about getting one).

I also want a pair of good warm slippers.

Lotsachocolateplease · 28/11/2020 08:48

From my boys I want slippers! It’s become a tradition for them to buy me slippers from primark every year. £4 split between them!
I’ve asked for perfume from my mum, and my partner hadn’t asked me what I want so i will be getting a surprise! I love surprises Smile

Lazysundayafternoons · 28/11/2020 08:50

My ds7 also got me a diary.
He bought it in October and insisted I must get a pink diary as the black one I usually use for work is so boring.

(Slightly ashamed that my 7yo knows how to navigate Amazon to make purchases).

BeyondMyWits · 28/11/2020 08:56

Every year I get what I ask for... it has become a tradition... the whole family, including the dog, go out for an hour after lunch to give me my present...

I want a Neom well-being diffuser...it’s being delivered today

JuiceyBetty · 28/11/2020 09:28

I've asked for Quirkle and Othello- 2 player board games I can play with DW when DS is at his dads.

SkiingIsHeaven · 28/11/2020 09:31

Peace and quiet.

I never get it.

OllysArmy · 28/11/2020 09:33

@Nanasueathome
That is exactly what I want too, but I am waiting to see if DH manages to get it for me, if not it’s what I will be buying for myself, again.

Someonesayroadtrip · 28/11/2020 09:37

Elemis face cream. Bought it in the Black Friday sales last year and bought it again this year, for myself 😂

dancemom · 28/11/2020 09:38

Raspberry ruffles and a nice candle or Reed diffuser for me please!

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 28/11/2020 09:46

I've given DH a short list comprising small gold hoop earrings, a sheepskin hot water bottle and wool hiking socks. He might get all of these or some or something completely different. Some will also be from the kids. I asked my mum for some sharp tweezers.

SingleMumOnlyChild · 28/11/2020 09:50

I can’t get to the U.K. because of Covid, so won’t get anything, (this is not unusual).
I think I might order myself a few bits from China, as they take so long to come, I’ll have forgotten what they are! Xmas day on my own and lunch at a kindly friend’s, as DS is with his Dad.
Going to be so weird this year.

Antirrhinum · 28/11/2020 09:51

Seasalt bamboo socks! I bought myself some earlier this year and love them. I've carefully taken screenshots of the designs I preferred from the website Grin

BarbiesWorld · 28/11/2020 09:55

Every year I ask for slippers. I've also asked for some nice loungewear and I know my parents are getting me the soda stream I asked for Grin

I'm very easily pleased. As long as I get the slippers and some chocolates I'm happy

Alexindiamondarmour · 28/11/2020 10:47

I have asked for books and some really nice bath salts that I saw in a shop. I pointed them out to DS7 and told him that’s what I would love for Christmas.

Arosadra · 28/11/2020 10:49

We don’t do Christmas presents for adults in our families but I’m saving up to treat myself to a dryrobe in the new year.

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 28/11/2020 10:50

I want PJ's and slippers please. Maybe some nice Aldi chocolate.

Dontfuckingsaycheese · 28/11/2020 10:53

Ooh. Les miserables book. 🙂 And mums got it already. 😊

DeeandraReynolds · 28/11/2020 10:54

A bit like a pp, if I want something, I tend to buy it. I'm hard to buy for, as usually, I like something pretty specific and I like to research it etc. My DH always gets jewellery, but things like a necklace which is way too short for me or a pandora charm (I don't have a charm bracelet). So I don't want him to get me jewellery.

Spectacularly unhelpful comment I know, but also a cheeky place mark as I could use some inspiration.

Maybe a handbag or maybe a new (inexpensive) watch.
