What have you asked for, or what are you hoping to get this christmas?

I really want a Neom candle and a pair of fluffy slippers!

Pearl earrings and a blanket crochet kit from attic 24 . The blanket kit is arriving today 😂

Thanks to corona we're a bit skint so rather than buying gifts at Christmas time for each other we've decided to have a night away in the new year when we're a bit more flush.

Bought myself some diamond studs this year, feel totally justified after the horrific year of 2020

Dh and I do surprises...but we are both VERY good at buying gifts and always think outside the box. Budget £200.
My adult dcs were given a list to choose from...including cashmere wrist warmers, Neom candle, a particular gin

My ds7 also got me a diary. He bought it in October and insisted I must get a pink diary as the black one I usually use for work is so boring.

(Slightly ashamed that my 7yo knows how to navigate Amazon to make purchases).

So long as he doesn't know how to take out a credit card then you really need to worry 😂

I know DH has got me some of the new hotel chocolat vegan range. I also suspect he will have chosen a Pandora charm.

I would like something from DD (18) just to show she cares. I suggested a homemade bookmark because I really would like a nice bookmark and I'm not artistic enough myself to make a good one. She has money but I don't want her to spend her money on me, the time means much more.

I've only asked for those two things in particular as I know I'll use them. I generally prefer experiences/going away somewhere as a present but obviously can't do that at the moment.

My DH is the opposite though, he likes "stuff" (ie what I think is junk tbh!)

I am getting myself two candlesticks from Anthropologie I saw in the US last Christmas and are on sale in the website.
I'll ask my son to get me a gift box of body lotion etc- there's an old fashioned pharmacy that sell gorgeous sets.
That's it. No hubby or parents so that's why I buy myself something.

I've asked DD for slippers and DP for perfume, my Mother is getting me a lamp and a jewellery box.

DP wants to buy me an expensive piece of jewellery but it's not an engagement ring so I've declined.

I have asked for a bottle of harris gin, a coat cape and the hamper box from shite company which has a winter candle and cashmere socks. I’ve seen some beautiful Silver rings too and they’re only £30 so I wI’ll get myself them with the money mil with give me (she hates present shopping so 22 years in I know what’s coming lol)

New towels after DH managed to wash our existing ones with bleach instead of fabric conditioner 🙄
