She's approaching late 40s. Likes to be a bit younger in the way she dresses and says she doesn't feel her age.

Budget around 20-30 , she has just received a huge bottle of her favourite fragrance so that's a no go.
She doesn't do cook books and so on as she trained in restaurants and prefers to research her own recipes. Cooking gadgets a plenty.

She's quite practical but also a bit partial to something "nice" but not OTT.

Any ideas would be really handy as I'm drawing a blank!

Possum and merino mix are very warm and soft. If you get 2 pairs of these, when you lose one glove, you have replacements. possummerino.co.uk/product/possum-merino-gloves/
Or you can get similar on Amazon.

Middle aged at late 40's? Is that middle aged now? I've just turned 50 and would be horrified and offended if someone referred to me as middle aged!

Oh dear! Maybe I am Sad

All I want really want, at a few years older than that, is chocolate, alcohol and warm socks.

I would be unlikely to wear clothes/jewellery/perfume I hadn’t chosen myself.

Candles and random smellies would get charity-shopped.

I probably wouldn’t enjoy a book I hadn’t chosen.
