Presents for teenage DS

There’s a fabulous thread running where the OP asked for present suggestions for her hard-to-buy-for teen DD and got some great suggestions. Some unisex, but many girl-specific.

Can we have one for a DS too please?? I have 15 and 16 yo boys who have pretty much everything technology and game-wise, and don’t need more clothes or hobby stuff and can’t think of anything they want. Why doesn’t MN have an eye roll emoji?

So what are you getting your teen DSs??

Mine got the holyhead 20quid fake ear pod things last month when he started sixth form. They work great!

He does like cheese though - might check out the cheese making kit @ExpensivelyDecorated - that sounds interesting. To go with the “extreme” milkshake making stuff I’ve already got him.

Wish I’d seen that before ordering the ever so slightly more expensive genuine article @Nonamesavail! We’ve tried quite a few non-Apple ones and they just don’t seem to last. Maybe my kids are just inexplicably hard on ear buds??

Are they into music at all? There are some brilliant little synthesizers called Pocket Operators that are no bigger than a calculator but surprisingly packed with functions! Big hit with (slightly older - 18) DS1 last year and we've got another for this year.

These list are great - there are years worth of Christmas and birthday ideas here!

They sound interesting @BearSoFair - will have a Google. Might be good for my 18yo’s birthday (he is sorted for Christmas).

@ginandplatonic PMTVUK on Youtube have a great set of videos for each variation, that was what won us over! DS has the Arcade and Rhythm versions and this year we're adding Robot.

Some great ideas on this thread, I'm abit late shopping this year aswell but have managed a couple presents so far for ds17 , a mandelorian lego set and a mandelorian t shirt . Gonna definitely check out some of the ideas on this thread as have a day off work tomorrow so its internet shopping day!
