We ordered a new tree and other Xmas decorations from werchristmas back in September for delivery first week of Nov (preorder) on the back of recommendations on MN. No sign of them! Their phones are off and they aren't answering email or many SM messages. Their Facebook page and UK trust pilot reviews are blowing up with very unhappy customers. They are blaming COVID but seem to have had similar problems last year. If anyone is thinking of buying from them, I'd really recommend going somewhere else.

I’m so sorry you’ve had a bad experience with them. I ordered from them last Sunday and the order arrived on Wednesday, although I hadn’t read any reviews and probably wouldn’t have ordered if I’d read bad ones.

I've just had a lovely garland delivered by them. Took a week after order and it's fab. I normally check reviews but didn't on this occasion. A bit glad I didn't now as I probably wouldn't have ordered.

I placed an order for a 7ft tree and wreath, but then changed my mind and wanted a 6ft. They were very helpful in cancelling my order and fulfilling a new one. Had a dispatch notice for the wreath, I think delivery was attempted today, but I was out so will need to pick up from the PO. I have also now had a dispatch notice for the tree too. Fingers crossed they both arrive!

I've never had a problem and when I replied to my pre-order email on a Saturday to check progress, I had an answer that day.

I've used them a few times with no issue.

@NoWordForFluffy was that in the last week or earlier? They cancelled part of my order 4 weeks ago and customer service contact was slow but generally ok. The contact issues only seem to have been since last weekend. The originally promised to deliver everyone's delayed orders this week but are now saying next week (and cancelling quite a few orders by the looks of the FB comments).

The problem seems to be more for trees than garlands. I'm glad some have had a good experience. I'm still hopeful that my order will arrive but this year has been so rubbish that I don't need this extra worry!

It was 2-3 weeks ago. Early this month.

I looked at their Facebook page and it does seem like they're trying really hard to get things sorted.

They aren't a dodgy company, just overtaken by circumstance, I think.

I have to put in a good word for them as well. Ordered a tree and garland from them last year and the garland quickly developed a fault. I contacted them and they replied quickly and sent me a no-quibble replacement. Hope you get your order soon!

Updating in case anyone searches for this in future. They aren't contactable and we ended up cancelling our order and spending a lot more on a replacement as people have been told today of yet more delays and people are also complaining that goods being received are damaged/missing parts. They have been reported to Trading Standards by multiple customers. If you are thinking of buying from them, check out the comments on their Facebook page (but they are deleting some now) and Trust Pilot reviews. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again and I'll be very surprised if they are still in business after Xmas.

I've just had a garland delivered. It's lovely and the delivery was fast. Not wanting to undermine your experience, just wanted to share that there are some satisfied customers out there.

I ordered a garland and outside lights based on recommendations on here, and received them quickly with no issues.

Maybe there is a problem with their tree suppliers? Such a shame they seem to be struggling with their orders.

Yes, it seems to be mainly large items like trees. Such a shame they are causing so many people such stress - quite a few can't afford to buy a replacement elsewhere until they get a refund and the complete lack of communication is clearly frustrating them.

Another who has had a good experience with them recently. Ordered some massive outside lights and they arrived quickly and without issue. I hope you get it sorted OP.

@williowrosenburg you might be ok as the main issues seem to be with trees. If it's prelit check it when it arrives as lots of complaints about broken goods too. Good luck!

I ordered an advent calendar - it looked a right state. But customer service were very good and quick to respond to me.

I'd never heard of them before, but ordered some decorations to the tune of £90 on the 3rd of December as to be honest nearly everywhere had sold out of what I was after.

17 days later nothing has arrived at all, no notifications about dispatch or anything. I first I allowed 10 days to be fair, but it's far past that now and they ignored my two emails.
The facebook pages and trustpilot reviews are awful, I'm so annoyed I trusted them. I wish I just stuck with John Lewis. I don't want the items as I'd just associate them with stress now!
@Absolutechaos have you had your items or a refund yet?

@Bluebellberry yes we did eventually get a refund. I cancelled the order via email and Facebook post, which they ignored but a messenger message which threatened trading standards worked - they had an automated reply saying they weren't checking messenger but it worked. This was about 3 weeks ago. If you can't contact them try a chargeback via your bank. Such a shame they caused so much stress for people.

@Absolutechaos I'm glad you for your refund. I've taken your advice and used facebook messenger but they STILL ignored me! I've added a Trustpilot review and the amount of negative reviews yesterday alone was shocking. Please anyone reading this, do NOT use them.
I'm worried next year they will pop up again under a different trading name as there is no way they can continue now, their reputation is damaged beyond repair

I ordered a small lit tree from them via Amazon. They sent me a large lit sleigh! I contacted them a few times but no reply. I couldn't print a returns label and Amazon refunded me(gotta live Amazon) but I still have a garish sleigh stuck in the shoe cupboard!

Another unhappy customer, really wish id seen all the terrible reviews first. Ordered from them a month ago, after 2 weeks they cancelled half my order ,leaving it a bit late for me to find it elsewhere, they were matching items so the remaining half I wouldn’t have bought alone, regardless they have ignored every email,wont refund, and have just emailed me to tell me it should arrive in a few days, Will always check reviews in the future

I've just had to lodge a complaint with my credit card company as I ordered on 5th December, they took my money on 7th and I still haven't received anything!

I have phoned, emailed and messaged with no reply.

I'm sorry you have all had issues too. They randomly sent me a refund of a couple of pounds a couple of days ago- no explanation what the refund was for- but they still me owe me about £75 or everything else.
I have reported them to my bank now for hopes of refund via them

Latest update: I got email., today the 29th (nearly a month later) claiming this shipped this despite numerous messages telling them to cancel and refund me. I do not want the items.
However you click the tracking number it is fake! No doubt they have done this to show the bank proof they did send it to avoid a chargeback. I am absolutely at my wits end, I have never dealt with such a horrible, horrible company

So sorry Bluebell, they are truly awful, im pleased some have been lucky, but I will definitely be checking the reviews next Christmas! Really hope you get your money back, last thing people needed this Christmas😕. They've still not dispatched, refunded, or replied to any emails, over a month now. I've escalated it with Paypal so should get it back via them. I hope your credit card company are reasonable and refund you.
