Apart from paw patrol my son hasn’t asked for anything and I really want some balance in his presents . Looking for some ideas of what your 4 years olds have asked for .

If he likes music, he might like a Loog.
We bought our 2DS (then 6 & 4) these last year, hands down the most popular gifts they’ve ever been given. Play with them every day and have now progressed to proper guitar (with lessons)

My almost 4 year old has asked for a timer (he means a watch) and a remote controlled car. We also got him a v-tech kids camera when it was amazon prime day, so got it half price, and a Thomas minis advent calendar:) As well as books and stocking fillers. We might actually keep the camera back for his birthday in January though.

Most played with present for our 4 year-old twins last year was their own sellotape dispenser! Think it’s been used every day!

Notrobusta · 10/11/2020 22:33

Love the cello tape dispenser idea 🤣

Does he like building stuff? DS got magnatiles for Christmas just before he turned 4 and they were played with loads.

Maryofscots · 10/11/2020 22:50

My 4 year old boy is obsessed with his little Bosch tool kit. The drill/power screwdriver makes realistic noises as it screws/unscrews the toy bolts and nuts. He walks around with it everywhere, definitely a good buy! I will be watching your post closely to get some ideas too 😊

Notrobusta · 10/11/2020 22:51

He has some magnatiles which he likes . He is into colouring at the moment so that’s easy enough to shop for .

Not asked for but i know they would like:
Playmobil
Lego
Magformers
Yoto Player
Scooter

Wowcherarestalkingme · 10/11/2020 22:56

My four year old is getting a drawing tablet type thing, a globe, play mobile and some puzzles. The only thing he has asked Santa for is a red hat and a super wings control centre he saw in the toy shop so my parents are getting him that

MamuleMu · 10/11/2020 22:57

Mine is obsessed with Lego.

chillimartini · 10/11/2020 23:02

Following!

MiniMaxi · 10/11/2020 23:07

Following too!

Mine would love toy dinosaurs or animals (the more obscure the better, eg elephant shrew!), and lego

OdeToAutumn · 10/11/2020 23:08

Dress up stuff, roller skates and glowtracks. He loves books too so will get him a couple.

kingat · 10/11/2020 23:11

Playmobil fire engine and firefighters
Fireman sam toys ( they are very poor quality though)
Walkie talkie
Wooden train set

Bikingbear · 10/11/2020 23:13

Following,
Mine wants Paw Patrol dino truck and he's getting other Paw Patrol bits too.

I've got him a camera because he keeps nicking mine.
He wants a watch.
Hes getting some Lego but I'm thinking I'll put it aside for later in the year. He's been getting a lot of fun from his mountain of duplo at the moment.
New kite I lost a bit of his old one.
Bike helmet.

I'm dithering about replacing his scooter.

That's a Birthday/ Christmas list, from everyone. I think theres other stuff but can't remember what

ColdNovemberNights · 10/11/2020 23:15

Lego.
Cars
Playdoh
Ryans World
Creative stuff

Anthilda · 10/11/2020 23:18

Theres a paw patrol portable dvd player/ laptop out now. Theres other ones too peppa etc. I thought this was a good idea because I have lots of old childrens dvds

My little one likes watching youtube videos of the kids in the toy Ice cream trucks so I got one of those and some bits to go with it from asda.

Other than those I have got a tablet, story books, arty farty stuff like paints and play doh.
Little dress up costumes and Lego.

Notrobusta · 11/11/2020 05:36

Thanks everyone. I have some ideas of things he would like other than paw patrol but surprised he hasn’t asked for more and would rather get a variety. Also each vehicle is £15 which ests into the budget if you get more than a few. He liked the crayola mess free colouring books so will get that . The other thing he liked in the summer was the kinetic sand stuff . Liked the ikea of Lego but tends to lose bits from the kits quickly . Maybe a generic box of bricks better . Will have a look a play mobile . He has an older brother so does have bits and bobs from him

Smarshian · 11/11/2020 06:43

My 4 year old is getting a micro scooter, remote control helicopter, cat boy costume, Spider-Man figures, magformers, playmobil, stomp rocket (not all from us)

OverTheRainbow88 · 11/11/2020 06:46

My son has asked Santa for multicoloured glitter, reusable sticker book, and a house- not sure what he means by a house though ?!!!

tempnamechange98765 · 11/11/2020 06:49

My 4 year old (who will be 5 on Boxing Day) is getting a 2 wheeled micro scooter, a couple of transformers, Lego, Knex, books.

He's asked for Octonauts gups but they are really hard to get.

Wonderwalk · 11/11/2020 06:49

My 4 year old is getting some motorised trains and train track. Rex from paw patrol and some bath bombs

NatalieH2220 · 11/11/2020 06:53

My son is approaching 4 and we've got him some Thomas trackmaster track with motorised trains and a new scooter. He loves cars too so grandparents have bought him a car garage.
